I love these series with individual phrases written in aeabic on the screen. I stop begore tou pronounce anything, tey to read and pronounce rhe words from the arabic scriptz and get immediate feedback if my reading and pronouncistion was correct or not. Perfect speed and reporition for a complete beginner learning to read and pronounce from reading. And many individual words are common enough that Im learning to identify them on sight.

Hi Ibrahim. Please could you tell me what the root verb form is for itmasha (in brackets), in I'd like to go for a walk? Is it a Form V verb. I've also seen "biddi irooh amshee" used.
@ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic
@ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic 8 ай бұрын
The verb is form 8 from the form افتعل this is very much used in spoken. It’s derived from the form 1 مشى to walk Both verb forms are used and it depends on what you wish to use, that’s all.

@@peterrandall7255 the language has a base form with 3 letters then in Arabic they have created new forms based on the 3 letter basic form. The new forms are like templates and all verbs will go under the same new forms to reference to a new meaning. Like Katab which a 3 letter verb form and it means to write. Make it form 2 by doubling the middle letter and it becomes - Kat-ttab which means to make someone to write. Make it form 3 Kaaateb كاتب and it’s a description refers to the person doing the action and acting and it’s called the active participle which is something I have covered in 5 sessions (check the grammar section). We have more forms which will change the meaning of the verb and its intensity

@ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic
@ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic 3 ай бұрын
Arabic has many dialects due to its historical and geographical spread across the Arab world, which led to regional variations in vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar. Factors like isolation, cultural influences, and historical events also contributed to the divergence of dialects over time and that itself influenced different pronunciation patterns. Hope this helps

Thank you so much for this excellent learning source! On the gender, I think it is sufficient to mention the male, female and plural form in Arabic, without specifying in English which one it is, as we hear the different endings and understand after a few examples. Personally, I would also find a third and fourth repetition of the Arabic words greatly useful.
