Very nice explanation sir. I have a small doubt Arabinose when present needs to bind with the dimer of ara C for proceeding the expression of the structural genes. Now since ara c dimer is needed for arabinose to bind, so why does it needs to get regulated by blockage of the promoter of ara c since ara C protein is a necessity.. 😬😬

Hello. I don't think I said that araC promoter is blocked. Refer to 18:10 in the video. It is simply that unlike araBAD, the araC is not upregulated when arabinose is present. This is simply because, you don't need a lot of araC protein to overexpress araBAD - basal levels are sufficient. Note that the araC is somewhat repressed when arabinose is not present but when arabinose is present it is not repressed, rather it returns to a basal expression.
