I'll do a live tomorrow and go through the comments, one by one, but I just want to say that since I started this channel I have found that the global metal community is the most welcoming and ,quite honestly, heartwarming community out there. Thank you for embracing me, educating me, and being patient with me. I LOVE you.

Welcome friend! Lorna Shore is an amazing listen. I really appreciate a lot of the newer metal (38 years old now, used to play some metal drums myself) and I also very much enjoyed your reaction! The ending is usually a separate reaction video all it's own. My recommendation is ArchSpire - "Bleed The Future". There are lyrics on the screen, although even then I wish you the best of luck keeping up! I hope you enjoy!

I've never been into this genre of music myself but theres just something about Lorna Shore that caught me. The first song I heard was Sun//Eater. Austin Archey (the drummer) is a MACHINE, and Will Ramos (singer) is a beast, yet having seen him with Charismatic Voice reacting together to songs he has the biggest labrador energy, he's adorable.

the pain remains trilogy from them is an absolute masterpiece, you wanted something heavier, thats it, just not musically but emotionally. You need to do the entire 3 part song in one sitting, the 3 feed into each other in the videos. The lyrics are so well written and the videos are just so emotional. I was so happy to hear how you gave so much praise to the musicians, especially the drummer. Most people get so mezmerised by Will Ramos unfathomable control over his voice that they completely miss how talented they all are. Thanks mate! Your reaction was mine when I first heard them. Now, Lorna is a favorite band. Each member of the ensemble is first class, and make what they do look easy. There are play throughs for many of the songs, especially the last album. Austin Archey's drum playthroughs on Meinl Cymbal's KZbin channels are great if you want to see what he is doing. Many angles, and the sound is phenomenal. I had a chance to spend time with the vocalist Will Ramos, and he is the nicest, most down to earth guy. "Hyperactive puppy" is my favorite description of him. Eventually, you'll need to check out the "Pain Remains" trilogy. Incredibly moving, many people end up in tears. When I saw Lorna in concert, they ended with the full trilogy, all 20 minutes. There were tears, and people holding their lit phones in the air. Incredible live band.

This song was labeled the heaviest song of 2021. There is heavier in terms of pure intensity, but Lorna combines all the elements best. Will is an absolutely cracked vocalist. You probably haven't seen Lorna Shore recommended much because people thought it was too soon for you 🤣. Harsh vocals and extreme metal take some time to get used to! Yes, it can get heavier! Your reaction was much like mine, my friend. After a lifetime of incomprehension about harsh vocals, I suddenly discovered, with this very song, that the singer is expressing the darkness that lives inside each of us. And then I could relate. The reason I like Lorna Shore so much is that they incorporate great melodies using instruments as a foil for Will Ramos's incredible screaming. The combo is beguiling. And I'm with you 100% in my appreciation for that guitar solo. Another performance you might enjoy in this genre is an energized rendition by Arch Enemy of their song Nemesis, live from Tokyo. There's no easy way to pop the cherry on music like this... But I will say this. Lorna Shore has been the most digestible, and easy to listen to deathcore band I've ever heard (which isn't many, it's not generally my thing, despite being a metalhead to the core). One of my major gripes with the genre, is that it is very rare that I understand the majority of the lyrics. With Will though... I've never really had trouble understanding what he's saying.

This band and Infant Annihilator are probably up there when it comes to heaviness (at least in more mainstream heavy music)

If you think that was heavy, you have to listen to blasphemian by infant annihilator Or literally anything by infant annihilator, their vocalist (dickie allen) is also the main inspiration and favorite from will ramos (the vocalist from lorna shore). The snarl at the end of this song was invented by dickie allen in the song "unholy gravebirth" 7 years ago and will paid an homage in this song The sound totally blew up and ALOT of bands are doing it right now

That breakdown is up there in terms of heavy but if you wanna be thrown further into the deep end I'm gonna mention "ten56. - Saiko" or "DEVILOOF - Immolation" (honestly anythign from these bands lol)

Lorna shore pain remains is heavier for different reasons. Worm shepherd- frozen lake part 2 is heavy but still enjoyable. Orbit culture- from the inside is heavy and melodic

Mental Cruelty is unforgivably left off the list, but to make it up for it the underrated under the radar Worm Shepherd is on the list.

@@Someguyy867 I love mental cruelty I just try to give worm shepherd as much love as possible. They need more ears on them. Same with orbit culture. It’s criminal such a accessible band exists and no love.

Yo get absolutely smashed by this song but still you find yourself humming the melody. That's the genius here. The extreme vocals and drums in contrast to the slow melody. Check out the drum playthrough of Cursed To Die by the drummer Ausin Archey. Amazing stuff.

Haha this was wonderful. That ending LOL. I agree with you and it can only be easier from now on lol. Yeah the drums are intense, but at least he gets some rest from time to time in the song. Meshuggah - Bleed has no rest lol. Very different drums, both require enormous amounts of stamina.
