Honestly the perfomer bard feat does a better job at the idea of spamming your encounter powers than the entire class mechanic. Personally it feels like the Bard is taking over the Cleric’s role. They brought back reliable buffs and debuffs to the game(which the cleric was king of before mod 16), have reliable healing, and their dps version is also about spamming encounter powers? And then that dps feat which increases a nearby ally and yourself’s damage is basically a rebranded terrifying insight.

This is basically how I’ve been playing my Arbiter the past 3 years, I fully endorse this build! It’s extremely fun, and yes underperforms against large groups, but the moment a boss appears, you fly back up on the dmg board

on PC, I realised you can animation cancel lance of faith with tab, so for single target, I spam tab/LMB to quickly build up divinity, then forgemaster, then repeat. Never top paingiver, but I normally do respectably!

As for the Guardian of faith not having the proper magnitude, it might be a bug, I remember Obikins saying it doesn’t hit as hard as the tooltip indicates. Maybe a bug where sometimes the pips don’t give the correct amount of damage? I initially thought that buffing PoD to 50% might be op, but after you showed the numbers I think that it’s reasonable, especially if they want to maintain the strict casting of the class. Not sure how I feel about your proposed reduced divinity cost on FF though, the divinity costs were tuned such that you always have the max damage bonus from divine equilibrium on your second forgemaster, but I have no idea whether losing that slight percent of damage bonus would be worth having a lower cost on FF. I do agree that the feats and a lot of the powers could use some changes though. Some of the feats are so worthless like the guaranteed crit on javelin, or the minor increase in divinity gains from consuming pips when your stats are balanced. The 2 dailies they get are quite mediocre and don’t fit perfect balance at all, not to mention celestial prominence is a worse version of the wizard’s arcane singularity, while the hammer uses up precious burning judgement to give radiant judgement. The cast times could also be shortened, considering they need to both avoid dying while having to stand still for 10 seconds to throw everything out. I would also recommend in addition to the perfect balance stacks persisting through death, make them have an infinite duration. This would make it more consistent in content where the boss might disappear or where there’s really long cutscenes or time intervals in between the next group of enemies. It would also be useful as currently, if you’re running through a zone your stacks from the previous fight might disappear by the time you reach your next target. E.g. you have 3 burning shift stacks and 2 radiant shift stacks, your radiant stacks drop off just as you begin combat with your next target, so you have to recover extra divinity. This issue can be solved by just casting 3 radiant powers, but depending on the situation your burning stacks might also drop off too which will just require you to have to do a full reset. There’s also another problem I realised recently, with how many extra buffs come from gear and the bard songs, the buff bar can get partially blocked by the boss hp bar and so sometimes you may not be able to see your stacks clearly on the buff bar. I think that’s a really stupid issue, and they should either make it always appear first on the buff bar, or add a visual indicator on your character to indicate how many stacks of radiant and burning shift you have. That should also help console players play the arbiter as they don’t have to manually keep track of their powers. Just put like 4 orbs each of red and yellow around the head and make them light up as the stacks are achieved. If it looks too similar to the current judgement pips, then maybe make it like a halo behind the head where it gradually lights up with red and yellow to form 4 quarters. Then if you want to add even more of a thematic bonus maybe add a heal when they achieve perfect balance?

So you didn't test using anything other than prophecy of doom? like break the spirit? also the other fire daily feated which deals like 3k magnitude? thats what i would like to see here, because you can cast encounters non stop without consuming the pips. In my tests, there is no much difference in enc dps using this rotation of BtS vs PoD, but i wanted to see if someone else could confirm it.

if you give up PoD, you give up like 22% of your overall damage. Break the spirit is never going to make up that

@@Aragon- By itself not, but it's a damaging encounter slot, gives radiant stacks and can benefit/generate pips, on top of having a lower cd while also giving 10% more damage. I'm not expecting it to deal more damage than PoD, but in my runs, the freedom to cast encounters whenever, ends up in more dps output, because often you cannot use PoD and neither your other encounters because the radiant/burning stacks would be messed up, so you stand there using your at-wills and having encounter off-cooldown, which is a lost in dps. Thats why i said PoD is only good for piñata bosses that take damage a nothing else.

Most of them have their own abilities to survive. Not all can heal, but most can. Bard can, Barbarian can Cleric can Fighter can Paladin can Ranger can Warlock can Wizard cannot Rogue cannot

@@Aragon- wizard has a shield encounter, doesn't he? Fact that using it is basically ruining your class efficiency doesn't mean it's not existing, and shouldn't we technically count shield as heal? Also if you will manage 5 boon points into potions boon, you can get constant 5% hp base heal per second for 30 seconds with basically 90% uptime for like... 3 silver every half minute? That's enough for anyone, because you'll either die via one shot, or you won't die,

game capped at 60 frames and video recording is 30 frames just max all graphic settings with the slider. just have a Ryzen 5 5600X CPU and Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card

M27 tier list video mostly covered rankings based on how easy it is to play to get good damage. Although Rogue had some big updates since then and Wizard some fixes, so I would bring wizard down a rank and put Rogue at the top

It’s the same thing but searing javelin instead of forgemaster’s flame and chains instead of prophecy. I don’t know whether trying to get perfect balance is better than just consuming the pips for divinity though. Due to the lower divinity cost and extra radiant power you don’t need to get divinity to full to start blasting again.
