A Colorado Front Range Hiking & Scrambling classic, this Adventure, just over an hour's drive from Denver delivers a beautiful approach combined with airy views into the Arapahoe Basin, complete with Glacier, is amazing! The climbing was very enjoyable as well. Route finding was fairly straight forward with orange arrows marking much of the way. Combining this route with the Snow/Couloir climb "Skywalker" during spring snow conditions would only make it better! This is an out and back route as documented, the ridge is .8 miles one way.
14er,com Had an excellent route guide

I would recommend reviewing if you're planning to do this trip.
All Drone footage was shot from line of site, stationed outside of Indian Peaks Wilderness on Roosevelt National Forest land. Maps are in the video.

Super awesome vids! My first track was Mt Elbert and as a Floridian! Colorado is our second home! Thanks for the inspiration. Our parents have peaked many a 14er as Coloradans. Air Force veterans. We turned them on to your videos. My husband is a Class 4 -5 climber. Can’t wait to get back out there. Thanks Karl! Hope to see you out there on trail one day!

Thank you so much Nicole! I wouldn’t be surprised, running into people from KZbin is started happening quite a bit. I’ve probably crossed paths with your parents, and nearly the same age, lol! If you give me some basic bio info. Before you come out, I can probably make some great recommendations for you when you’re here.

Did this traverse exactly 1 week ago with a friend. It’s a lot of fun and the views can’t be beat. You may also try Mt Neva North Ridge (0:25 in the video) in the same area which is another fun class 4 climb

Nice video again. So jealous of your time and location to all these great hikes and climbs. I live in Texas and come to Colorado twice a year and normally get one good hike each trip - my wife only likes the easier stuff. Always thought using a dirt bike would be nice getting to a lot of the tough THs, I would worry a tad about the security though…but I love dirt bike riding too!

Thanks again John, yes the idea behind the dirt bike was exactly what you say - get up there early and as far as possible to THs! Like you, love riding them too. Stay tuned, got some new ones coming I'm pretty stoked about!
