As for lunch, if I am worried about the heat and food safety, I will usually take frozen water bottles that will melt into drinking water and take at least one box (4 sandwiches) of store-bought, frozen, "Uncrustables" peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to prevent concern over food spoilage. I usually always have some canned tuna or chicken salad as well as a back-up meal just in case. I usually always have carrot sticks as well. I like to have a can of Pringles as well.... they seems to "hold together" better than other bags of chips with less breakage. I always have a water filter with me to be sure that I can stay hydrated and keep my bottles full of fresh - and usually cold mountain water! Have you done a video on the camera gear you use and "how" you connect the camera to your helmet? I'd love to learn.... an idea for one of your next videos! Thanks for the videos!

We rode the Arapeen Trail System in late September of this year (2021). The fall colors were fantastic, and the weather was perfect. My wife and I put 371 miles on our 2020 RZR 900S. For snacks, my wife made us sandwiches and we took packaged nuts, jerky and bottled water. Had a great time, and might go back, though it takes us three days of driving in each direction to get there from the Oregon Coast.

We love the Arapeen trail system. We drive 2 1/2 days from eastern Oklahoma. We love the variety, plus it isn't crowded like some of the Colorado trails.

You definitely went at the perfect time. Spring and fall are amazing. I was touring the Oregon Coast for a week during the fall.

@@TodaysOutdoorAdventure If you drove down Hwy. 101, you went right by us. We live at the north end of the Oregon Dunes Recreation Area. The trail riding was a good alternative to the dunes, though I do get a lot of trail riding done during elk season over near the Idaho/Oregon border. I'd like to try the Arapeen Trail System in the late spring, before it gets too hot in the valley. Have you ridden the Manti Sheep Trail? That was "interesting", especially if you like rocky trails, but I'm glad we did it.

@@fredross8182 Drove the 101 from Astoria to Bandon. Beautiful area! Early August is the best time for the spring flowers on the Arapeen trail system.

@@TodaysOutdoorAdventure Then you passed right by. Fall is the best time for the coast, since it's not as windy. We'll have to plan a trip to the Arapeen for the spring flowers.
