Initially, I didn't really like the vocals but they have really grown on me. I saw the movie first as the english dub edited with the original ending "aiko- 『スター』" On rewatching the movie, I kinda prefer "Watch The Moonrise" and find myself listening to this song on repeat. There is something so bittersweet about the lyrics, especially towards the end of the song.

Every year or so I always find myself back here, watching the anime and listening to this song. It's weirdly become kind of a tradition or habit thats stuck over time . Although it's a great habit to have because the music and anime both hold up every time I come back around (I'm probably on the 9th rotation lol)

Man i miss my grandparents so much. This song makes me think about them. There isn't a day that goes by that i don't think about them. I wish i could go back to the days of when times when they was still here.
