OK before I start gushing about how good Itto's english VA, there is a elephant in the room we need to clear:wait Sara was considered a boy when she was young!? Damn, she grew up magnificently if that were the case. As for Itto himself, much like a lot of characters, he has layers that fleshes him out like an actual character should and everytime he speaks, you can feel this giant energy out from him in a lot of his lines. Which leads into his English VA who out right kills it as the energy, the flow and power in his voice just screams Itto is a cool dude despite him being part Oni. Not to mention, he beat boxes for you on your freaking birthday so yeah Itto, despite having a sad past like most characters in this game, at least he has some sliver linings and overall even his playstyle is super fun. Nice video!

I think for Sara it was probably due to her attitude and training so young, it's only briefly mentioned in her story 5 but did stand out to me. Yeah Max really did an incredible job voicing him, I think he's my favourite VA in the game now, especially with that beat boxing birthday voice line haha. I just hope there are some more oni still alive like the Otogi King or Chiyo but chances are they'd be corrupted and we'd have to kill them. D:

i love itto so much, honestly before he was released (his drip marketing) i was like oh, another fanservice character but he's genuinely probably the sweetest of all with thoma in second place

Turns out Ayato quite Enjoys Itto's company even though he find him... Kinda Strange I guess? He likes people who get straight to the point instead of beating around the bush which fits Itto quite perfectly

Yeah his gift to Itto during the new event was a nice touch to show that Ayato does consider him a friend too. I think Ayato's English voicelines sounded a bit harsher than intended about Itto so it had a few of us worried he didn't like Itto as much.

Great video, I loved it! I like to think Itto and the Arataki Gang represent some sort of "queer community" equivalent to Teyvat. From the idea of found family, a love for threater and the arts, self acceptance and bigotry being thrown at them. Might be a stretch, but Itto's birthday is during July, pride month, he even organized his own event during it (drumalong festival); he wants to dye his horns rainbow, he has a token "female idol" (Ms. Hina) and has an interesting relationship with Gorou even though he doesn't know he's Ms. Hina. I'm not saying he's strictly gay or that everyone in the gang is, finding a family in the queer community is about finding a home in outcasts alike; what I'm saying is that he's queer coded and can probably be interpreted as such!

I’ve heard/seen that Itto and Sara are more than just potential childhood friends that don’t know it yet, but that they’re also soul mates, apparently. I’ve seen a video on them possibly being the reincarnations of lovers that comes from the Emblem of Severed Fate set story, I believe? That they’re both similar, the lovers in the Fate lore and Itto with Sara’a relationship. You think they’re meant to be? 🤔

Ohh I hadn't heard of that, I'm guessing the two are Takamine and Hibiki? It's a possibility as Takamine was headstrong like Itto and iirc Hibiki was a bow user with a fairly strict personality but I'd have to look into it more before making my mind up on it.
