Thanks for the honest review. It’s refreshing to see this on KZbin as the platform has become more of an advertising platform than anything. I’ve only recently found your channel and I find it informative and entertaining! Keep up the good work and happy travels!

Mark, appreciate you taking the time to do all the videos very informative and honestly I have been binge watching I like the husband wife approach with two perspectives. My wife and I are entering retirement and these adventures sound like so much fun. Again I appreciate all you have done here keep it up

These are the little things that we need to know as consumers/users. Awesome!

Thank you for your honest opinion. You pulled no punches. ARB could learn a lot from actual users like you to improve their products.

Loved your detailed honest review for ageing and have to agree that arb can be a very slow to improve their products and have to wonder if they ever do but yeh I loved the ladder mod as I wondered how will the standard one suit any lifted vehicle or the angles parked on or how being fitted to open to the rear or the side. Was nice to see your explanation of noises from wind as I know very well these can drive you nuts on a bad night, I’ve put a little electrical tape on zippers to help with the tings at night on other gear I have. Still haven’t bought a rooftop tent yet and leaning to this one for the annex inclusion but think I’ll look a little harder first also. Cheers mate big thumbs up 👍

Hey guys I just subscribed and I'm hooked. I'm. Just getting into overland-ing and I really like all the gear you guys use. Everything i look up has outstanding reviews. There is still so much equipment you use that needs a video, like the big chest that stores the grill! Dont think you have ran out of content!

Since your RTT is 5 years old, are you aware if ARB has made any updates to this design to address some of the issues you have experienced? Thanks for sending me over here from your other video.

Appreciate the honest take! Kinda surprised detail and organizationally oriented folks such as yourselves haven't bitten the bullet and gotten the ursa, but i imagine its due to price.

Have you checked out CVT. There’s a showroom in Chattanooga that we went and checked em out. Extremely well built, but there’s a money difference

Thinking about ordering this tent, i was looking at the tuff stuff but shipping and border fees it would be ridiculously expensive

How does this tent hold up in hot desert conditions? Is the material of the tent so heavy that it's not ideal for warm weather camping?

Wait... the tent is not waterproof?
@nate40363 жыл бұрын
Yes. But canvas needs treatment every couple of years. The rain fly is just extra protective barrier for soaking weather. The canvas can handle rain alone

I'm not sure how to take your review.. did you say you'd owned the tent for 5 years?

That new ladder looks nicer; you don't seem to like this tent at all.

For a "cheap" tent, I think you are pretty picky. Made in China... so disappointing.
