Nice! How would you compare this to the Coda? Does the Landmark feel as solid, can it handle more aggressive lines too? I really like the shape and floaty design on this new deck. Feeling torn between the two.

Tough toss up. The Landmark will be a little softer than the Coda. Both would work in the big mountains. I might lean toward the Coda if you're really getting after it. For the other 98% this should be a really popular new addition to the Arbor Lineup.

How would you say the Landmark compares to the K2 Marauder? Also, do you think the Freeloader is worth the extra money over the Marauder? Thanks for all the great content!

Hey John, appreciate the comment and feedback. What size board are you looking at. There is a deal online on the Freeloader I found that would be tough to pass up. The Landmark is either camber or rocker without a blend whereas the Marauder will have more camber underfoot and rocker tip and tail. So for touring the camber Landmark will do well.

@@MountainWeeklyNews Gotcha, thanks! I'm looking at the 164w-166w range. To be honest...I have industry pricing so it's really down to which board will work better in north cascades. I do like the way the k2 boards are set up for pomoca skins...but I had a split brd...and wasn't stoked on the rockered nose for touring( my skins would constantly come off and pack with snow)..great board on the way down though. Thanks again for the advice, I really appreciate...and your reviews really are top notch. They're definitely the best around.

How do you find the float of the rocker in pow compared to a camber board? I just picked up a Jones Mind Expander Split, I went for the 2021/2022 version as the 2022/2023 changed from rocker to camber with rocker, which I'll bet won't float as well. I have a Carbon Solution and while it is capable in pow, I get back leg burn on it in the deep stuff.

Yeah the Carbon Solution is a leg burner for sure. The rocker was nice although really the difference in the profiles is being noticed on the way uphill. All 3 boards you mentioned rip. I like little more camber now for the up.

@@MountainWeeklyNews I did a couple of volcano climbs over the past couple of weeks with the Mind Expander. The rocker profile definitely only good for ascents in powder as the grip is not that all great, but then, it's a powder board, so I don't mind much. I used the board crampons for the second ascent as I wanted to be able to summit.

you are biased to unions, disagree all you want. they suck and are not even a reasonable option, you have broken them and shown how useless they are but still try to say they are good. they are not!!

Actually have broke 2 sets of Sparks now. Unions ride better. Hands down.

@@MountainWeeklyNews i believe using the pure plastic pucks might have been why you pulled it off the board for one of them. not sure if I've seen or remember the other time? you just have to look at the numbers you see actually putting on the miles out there. id say sparks #1 around here karakoram #2 and then different hardboots coming in #3. dont get me wrong i think for hitting kickers and doing short laps...maybe but not for me. I'd keen for other people chime in on numbers DOING big miles where their at.
