This is so wrong. It is so wrong if is difficult to know where to begin to explain where it is wrong. Your membrane implies it is space that warps! It is spacetime that warps. Spacetime is four dimensional . Your membrane is stretched. Spacetime compresses near mass,. Your analogy is so wrong. Your orbits decay. Real orbits dont decay. Your demonstration is so wrong that it in fact misleads as to what is truly causing gravity. The true cause of gravity is time ticking at different rates depending on an objects distance from another object. Your demonstration is so misleading that your students will never be able to understand gravity. Your demonstration uses gravity to try to explain gravity. Where is the gravity outside of our 4D spacetime supposedly coming from? Your demonstration is so wrong that I have difficulty explaining how wrong it is.

@@xlDeathlxJosey Well, the demonstration is a bit misleading because it tells you that the planets slow down and fall towards the large mass (which is the sun) due to friction. However, there's no friction in space.
