Arc Hydro tools is better. It has few tools in addition. However best is when you use them together. ArcHydro is more useful while using for HEC software

how did you get the flow accumulation to run so quickly? What type of machine are you working on? The flow accumulation process is taking several hours, and I've read else ware that it sometimes takes days. But your flow accumulation took 3 minutes???? Any suggestions? Thanks

Its a normal 2GB RAM. In any angle it should not take hours. May be some installation issue

Hi. Thanks for this nice tutorial. I have one question. When i overlaid the result with google earth, somehow the stream line did not represent the actual shape as it should be. The curve line of the stream not same as the google earth image. What is your suggestion? is it because of the simplification? thank you

and i also find out that the stream a bit shifted on some part of the whole stream network

It doesn't match perfectly because, DEM has square pixels. The shifted because network may because of some projection issue. You can do spatial adjustment as shown in other video in the tutorial
