this isn't really in the same ballpark as barb damage, I think he was being facetious. Decently geared andariels rogues do like 300-400m a tick and they are live right now...and they aren't doing barb damage. Just shows how truly abysmal of a state sorc is in rn

I theory-cooked a very similar build but with a couple of changes. 1. FireBolt and FrostBolt Enchantments (so we apply bur and chill) and we have a ton of multiplicative damage to Burning/Chilled/Crowd-Controled 2. Tyrael's Might chest - to DR, Max Resistances, and some extra damage with every swing 3. Using this new Wildbolt Aspect (but don't know if it is working) - "Every 2s you pull in distant enemies" - so no need to use Teleport enchant and Raiment. What do you think?

1. I need to play around with arc lash more. I really don’t want firebolt over tp enchant its way more damage, I just needed the enemy grouping. Not frostbolt, I don’t spec into crowd control damage in this game. Bosses exist. 2. Tyraels was underwhelming 3. I will try the new chest pull aspect today, but from what I’ve heard it pulls like 1 enemy

@@Lurkin17 1. Yes, bosses exist but with ArcLash you stagger them quite quickly. 2. Sad news but in terms of DR it looks really good. 3. Yeah, it all depends on how good this works. If similar to Raiment's teleport pull then all should be fine. 4. They will nerf everything outside Barb - as always.

My biggest question would be: how did you get these two items (Helmet and Sword). I just can't farm them. The second thing is that they will nerf it to the ground so you play Barblo IV or you don't play at all.

Well if it really did the second part of the effect to increase resource cost, it should be mana draining enough to balance it otherwise it will be nerfed because it is too OP for basic skills

Hi mate my main concern are uniques having wide aspect range rolls like 100%-300%. I've never seen something like it in any ARPG I don't understand philosophy behind it and it makes no sens since GA's were introduced. So now when unique drops there will be zero dopamine no excitement because there is a big chance for shitty rolls. What makes H&S great is the fact that you are having chance for upgrade all the time any time u roll the dice and just imagine u already have this sword with 300% aspect on it and when you drop same item with 3 GA's with the lowest possible roll how that will make u feel... It's just insane how much rng there will be to get an upgrade.

@AlanAshes I would say that it's not barb broken but blizzard clearly has a favoritism and when any of the other classes is able to compete in end game activities they get nerf to underperformed and not surpass the barbs performance. So far barb has been top every season, it's ridiculous that my barb can fortity in 1 hit for vastly more than the entirety of my sorceress HP pool , yet sorceress is stuck using only 2 enchantments same shit firebolt enchantment, boss damage trash and barriers get depleted in split second forcing sorceress players to strife for only one build with perfect roll gear to get perma flame shield so they won't die . We can all say blizzard does not play sorceress or blizzard team is stupid. Sorceress needs needs buff, needs 1 or 2 extra enchantment slot and extra ring slot to make it balanced with barb performance, same with druid , they can let druid put aspects on back throphys or put two aspects on two handed weapons for druid or something

Same with the 1h sword for a lot of builds (ofc the Druid basic attack build will never compete). These items have way too much power on them.

Nice build. I have not found most of the gear to make it work. In fact none of the uniques so far. I have the pants that they give you. Kind of makes me feel ill that we have to hit for 32 million damage to be decent now. Hail the almighty power creep.

Lurkin, not sure you're aware but now in the PTR version... Under Options you can select the type of dmg numbers you want to see... You can literally just select crit dmg and overpower dmg 😊

pure LS? doesn't exist. you would run ball lightning with critical strike damage tempers, LS and ice blade enchant and take splintering

Testing was very positive. I don't expect the pants/Lucion bug combo to make it into the game. the combo would work in the PTR tho. but without the bug you don't want the axial pants. you want arc lash rank pants. Axial has a value of 22,000 to proc, it's literally a single second of an andariels proc. they are garbage

Um it’s not bugged to my knowledge besides the interaction between axial and lucion. I am not wearing axials. It’s overtuned. I normally hit for 2-3M with arc lash. Now I have 50% starless. 4.5M. 125% helm. 10M. Then 180% sword. 28M. Math checks out chief. That’s not bugged. It’s highly tuned
