I think what they're slowly doing is re-tooling the sorc class (as well as other classes) to remove some of the redundancies. scorching was too good that it became must use for any sorc build.

It has happened a few times to where i build a build and then right in the next season we get something that will boost the build lol. I always do unique builds, challenge myself and never follow the meta. This season im doing a meteorite build and then look at what we get with the armageddon aspect buff lol. Shocking impact seems really amazing now and can open up unique builds i have always thought of but didnt do them because it wouldnt work well with bosses but now i can so thats exciting. Also the buffs to shock legendary nodes and ultimate skills is a W for sure

Deep Freeze isn't a defensive skill, so that with Tenuous Destruction could be a good combo. Maybe even go with a full Ice Build with Elemental Synergies, since there would be no Teleport nor Flame Shield. Though Flame Shield enchant could be used, perhaps for hardcore players. Sidhe bindings not great but could be used to trigger Tal Rashas if it works like Season 6 for triggering Tal. Maybe not the greatest but could be fun to play. A turtle build.

Looks like the Noc rune was not nerfed but rather buffed. Previously you didn't get any offering for inflicting slow or chill but now you get half.

I was surprised to not see any change to the Serpentine aspect, was hoping for something to make hydra have the core skill tag. Ranks to core skills on Heir of Perdition and Starless Skies is wasted for Hydra builds. As well as the passive Elemental Dominance.

Ngl, I do feel frost should get something while they retool the class. Maybe rework storm swell to do 50%x frost skill damage while ice armor is up or something. I am curious to see if something can be cooked up with deep freeze and the new ultimate aspects, maybe using tenuous destruction instead of storm swell.

The increased lucky hit chance on Stormhorn is to compensate for only having one projectile. Stormhorn sounds like it could be better for single target.

Casual here who plays with his wife a handful of hours a week. She runs a Frozen Orb sorcerer because the "mom" build ease of it is exactly what she wants and it's still a joy to play with all the various things flying around screen without having to hit specific buttons rapidly in specific order to do so. I can't get her past 50 Pit right now because the gear just isn't there, and she will never be one of those people who presses everything perfectly as they come off cooldown. Please tell me she didn't get nerfed as I have no idea what kind of fallback build I could use for her.

Alright, so you probably saw the POE2 announcement for early access. A TON of D4 players (like myself) will be making the jump. Sick of the tepid changes to Sorc. The class is way too weak and Blizzard isn't addressing the class the way I hoped they would in S7. Wanted to know if you would be doing a Sorc or Witch on POE2 for early access.

So what would you rank allround now? 1 fire ball? 2 this build? For Max Pit Lightning from Roxy?

Enlightenment doesn't have 100% uptime though right? So it's not really 100% damage all the time. But, neither is avalanche. It honestly feels like Blizzard is PUSHING players towards POE at this point.

The current state of Diablo IV makes me sad. I enjoy this franchise and I really want this game to be amazing but right now it just has so many problems. One major realization I had this week was the lack of true endgame content. Once you have a powerful character and can blast through the lair bosses and max level activities, what is there to do other than the same things over and over? There's nothing more to really strive for to keep you playing.

Sorc as a class is a complete mess. It suppose to be the elemental spell caster class. Instead, all your damage is coming from satisfying weird conditions. If you are ice sorc, you have to keep your enemies burning because most of your damage comes from Devouring Blaze. You are casting conjurations not because they do damage, but because they give you conjuration mastery. There is way too much needless complexity. It is not like there is any creativity involved, everybody can see that Devouring Blaze is the biggest multiplier and therefore must be taken in all builds.

in my opinion the aspect in the amulet is a useless piece of shi**. why not take the suffix about the chance of vulnerability into the gloves? this will free up your hands for a more useful aspect in the amulet.

I feel you! The only viable build is the fireball ae spam one which no one in a party or groups like because it is very annoying spell fx. Very unhappy with S6 also which is crazy being it waws an expansion season. Game is not fun right now at all in party and god forbid you add a SB to your party you may as well just smile and wave. Fire sorcs are just annoying so no thanks.

I just want to not run Conjuration Mastery without a massive loss.

Just got back into DIablo coming from Diablo 2 from like 15 years ago and was/am enjoying the game. Its a little disheartening to find every single person reviewing the latest patch is completely negative. Not a single positive person creates videos for Diablo 4? Where did this culture come from where if something is not perfect on a spread sheet versus what other people are doing then its trash? Here I am enjoying myself in this PVE world and getting a kick out of just slowly crafting and building a bigger better character. I dont care if my Sorcerer is better than some other class. I'm enjoying it for the sake of enjoyment being on my own journey. Am I wrong and should I be sweating over spreadsheets like everyone else to get the "maximum fun"?

As a sorc main, love your content man. The sorc feels terrible, who the f*** wants to play firewall with fire bolt. Fireball dps drop when near walls and corridors. Can we please get a huge buff to basic skills.
