For a little clarity: I bought one for my iPhone 13 Pro Max a few years ago. The bumpers are pressure fitted, meaning once you put the rubberized pads inside the case and put it on your phone, pressure keeps it attached. It’s even difficult to get off by actively pulling. As far as drop protection, I dropped it from chest height (5.5 feet), onto concrete. It bounced around a good few times-NO damage to my phone whatsoever. Didn’t even crack my screen protector. I dropped it off my lap when getting out of my car another time. It skidded across the parking lot. No damage (but the case in Silver finish did have minimal scratching). Another instance, I dropped it from shallow pockets and it was a drop onto one of the corners. This chipped my screen protector (as expected). But it was very minimal and I didn’t notice until I removed the actual bumper/case. Overall, as someone who is pretty clumsy with phones, it flawlessly protected my phone. And I got so many compliments on my phone. Lastly, I get to see my $1100 investment. As I type this, I just ordered a new one for my iPhone 15 Pro Max.

@@Banktizzle It’s worth it if you want to use your phone the way that it was intended to be used by the designer. I’ve had one for about a year with no issues. It’s impossible to appreciate how good it is until you try one out.

I have this on my 15 Pro Max and I love it. I have dropped my phone and no damage so far. I have a case of I ever have to be somewhere that’s rocky or may cause damage if dropped but the place I normally go, this is perfect.

One additional benefit: If you use a DJI Osmo phone gimbal, you can mount the phone clip without removing the case.

One point hasn't been raised: likelihood of dropping. I suspect holding your full case (Otterbox, etc.) is less likely to slip out of hand. This is slick, and thus more easy to drop.

I would argue the opposite. I have a rhinoshield solid suit for 15 pro and the sides have no grip, very soft/sleek and can slip easy. But with this case, as you grip the side of the phone the top piece would be resting on your fingers giving you better grip, if that makes sense.

As a t mobile rep I cannot tell you how many conversations and sales I’ve made just because I’ve had this case lol I’ve had one on my purple 14 pro max since the phone came out now as a Apple champion (they send me the new iPhone for free every year) I’m waiting to get another one for my 15pro w case in my opinion 💪🏽

I have one that I use now and again. It is a nice little system in case I don't feel like the weight of a case. But as I've gotten older I find myself more butterfingers than prior LOL so Ive been going with a case more often. Thanks of the info and review. Also that's a nice wallpaper. Ive always gone for thin cases. I got a MagSafe case from a stand at The Americana at Brand, dropped my phone and the screen protector cracked. The "case" is useless, it's so thin it does nothing for the phone and barely even has any edges to keep the screen itself from touching the table you lay it on. This case provides 10 fold more protection, while looking stunning. The most important parts are protected, while having insane edges to protect the front and back.

I hate the feeling of my naked phone for some reason. The metal just digs into my hands >< a case helps with that. Not only that I work in healthcare with patients. No way in heck would I want my phone naked.

This phone case is ass. I know 2 people who had this and within a year they both had to get their phones repaired. 1 back glass, other screen because it fell on its side on an uneven surface. Only good for side falls and even surfaces. If you’re using it outside, you’re playing with fire.

6 months old and so much scartch on it? Big no. Thanks for this review as I was concidering this but for such price it's a no go. Black version scratches to silver because it's just painted. Obvious. You need at least silver version which is another 15-20 USD. And you do not get edges protection and all these bad things that can be done to the screen comes from these edges.

A little counter productive that you STILL have damage on the phone with this "case" - I imagine you dropped it on a gravel/uneven surface and the phone had 0 protection. This case seems fine for those who can guarantee they will only drop it on smooth flat surfaces.... any others and game over. Imagine dropping it down stairs as it tumbles down hitting all over the phone. Nice idea and marginally better than nothing but far short of decent protection.
