Yeah, but understand her perspective with how many life long English speakers who refuse to acknowledge this. a lot of transphobic people can't even handle using they in a singular context and refuse to. its exhausting, and honestly, it doesn't matter what the rules of the language actually are if the populous so aggressively refuses to accept it. I actually really appreciate her expression of using It/its as a way to communicate singularity. I have a sibling using it/its and I feel like I understand its perspective so much better now even if I'm still confused. People's expressions don't have to make sense to everyone to be valid, some of us even enjoy the contradiction. as she said, "the language is breaking down." honestly her thoughts on this are so fascinating and I respect it, I have never heard this perspective before.
