I am a relatively new Arcade customer. I have two, and I love them! This belt looks great! You're exactly right - the new buckle won't get caught as easily on the belt loops.

Eddie Bauer had a belt same material but the buckle has a hook with loop to secure.... It also adjust but doesn't have the loop to adjust.... It uses friction...... It was $25 in their First Accent line.... Bought 2nd few months after I bought 1st one still in my drawer.... This belt is used every day for over 8-9 years ..... When loop begins to sag I flip belt over and go 6 months and alternate.... Ingenious design....

Hello! Yes, this particular belt was sent to us just as it was coming out. But we purchased the other 12 belts we have from them. I met the co-founder many years ago and have been impressed with the brand. We are having them on our podcast soon as well.

So looks like no real change. The og buckle is flawless. Only change I would like to see is an sturdier option for carrying a little weight like a tool pouch, small pistol, etc.
