Arcade Archive - BBC Points West - January 6th 2023

Back in the 70’s and 80’s many of you may remember queuing up in the arcades or your local cafe to play the latest video game - from Space Invaders to Donkey Kong. Whilst the world of computer games has moved on, many now have multi million pound budgets, one man in Gloucestershire has opened a museum full of original arcade games. Our Gloucestershire reporter and gaming fan, Steve Knibbs, has been on a trip down video game memory lane to meet the curator of the Arcade Archive, Alex Crowley…

Minor edit... Skyskipper was not game played around Washington DC it was Washington State which should make sense as Nintendo is in Washington State, USA.

Another minor edit - Sega Gun Fight came out in 1969 not 1962. It's the main reason I'm going to the arcade later this month. Can't wait 🙂
