This song is incredible. And "Her" is one of the greates movies I ever seen. So beautiful. This song makes me think of all the love in the world. All the passion. I forget the pain as I rest here in the sand. I can hear the kids playing and laughing. I look at the waves... It feels good. That's it. That's all that matters.

Her, Lost in Translation, Brokeback Mountain, Eternal Sunshine, and Moonlight are all perfect love stories. Hell, they're all perfect movies. If there's one thing ive learned about love it's that you will never possess it. It will never be yours forever. Nothing lasts. Letting that person go has to be as easy as loving them was. We're all just renting various forms of sorrow. Love, like happiness, is yours to seek, not have. Of course you will lose them. Someone will lose you too. So love now, if you can. The past and the future have one thing in common: they are not. This moment is.

I am often left awake at night staring into memories with fuzzy edges. I'm grasping to hold them tight like I held you.
