And as he moved through space, he moved quicker through time - until, upon looking back, he could no longer see where he had been, only what he once was.” I mentioned I also write poetry, here is one I wrote recently slightly inspired by physics: [Love falls quietly] Love falls quietly all around us. The protons of desire one may say, or what is made afterward by fast collision -- something new, if not more elementary -- such things that cannot be cut into the more fundamental. Like how can I say, that I love you from the root of all things: From the atom of an atom? Perhaps there is nothing else so carefully hidden, nothing else so abundant.

Imagine, just imagine for a moment (if you're reading this after you listened then start the video again and imagine). Imagine you are doing what the person in the video is doing. You are in space, traveling. Alone. You are on a survival mission, looking for places. For anything. Signs. Something that prolongs your existence. Somehow you got stranded and your ties have been cut to anything that has supported and sustained you. Whether it was a group of people or contact with your world. You got lost. You might have even thought of being the only person left alive. But you're strong though. You know right now where you are in your life you might not be as strong, but if you look at this person and listen and feel this song you know you want to be as strong. And somehow that makes you stronger. The thought gives you strength. Like the person in the video you are passing though large amounts of space in very short time. And information and coordinates are flying to your face. You are focused and determinded. You are processing everything coming to you, because you are searching. And you are not stopping. It's as if you feel nothing and hear nothing. In space there is nothing to hear or listen too. But somehow, between everything you do. You experience something. You do hear something. It's as if even if there were tens of people around right now, you would be still the only one hearing it. You hear this song. You feel it. But still, like the person in the video, things are repeating in front of you and you keep working and searching for a place. But this song is just there in the space of your mind. You hear it and you don't hear it. It's a ghost. It's hope. Of all the terrible and aweful things you have seen and experienced, you still hope. Secretly. For forgiveness, for mercy and for love. How do you find that? Maybe it's already here. Maybe you are hearing it.

To all the interstellar fans..... So, i always wanted to experience "The Beauty of Interstellar" in cinema. And few days back i was looking for "Oppenheimer" movie tickets and got to know that "Interstellar" is re-released in my city just for 3 days 🥺, and ended up booking tickets for "Interstellar" instead of "Oppenheimer ". Was lucky enough to witness this masterpiece in cinema ❤️🙌🏻🌏

I just love this scene from Life of Pi. ''At the edge of the jungle, he stopped. I was certain he was going to look back at me, flatten his ears to his head, growl - that he'd bring our relationship to an end in some way. But he just stared ahead into the jungle. And then Richard Parker, my fierce companion, the terrible one who kept me alive, disappeared forever from my life. After a few hours, a member of my own species found me. He left and returned with a group who carried me away. I wept like a child, not because I was overwhelmed at having survived, although I was. I was weeping because Richard Parker left me so. . . unceremoniously. It broke my heart. You know, my father was right. Richard Parker never saw me as his friend. After all we'd been through, he didn't even look back. But I have to believe that there was more in his eyes than my own reflection staring back at me. I know it I felt it - even if I can't prove it. I just wish. . . You know, I've left so much behind. My family, the zoo, Anandi, India - I suppose in the end the whole of life becomes an act of letting go. But what always hurts the most is not taking the moment to say goodbye. I was never able to thank my father for all I learned from him, to tell him that without his lessons I would never have survived. . . And I know he's a tiger, but I wish I'd said: 'It's over. We've survived. Thank you for saving my life. I love you, Richard Parker. You will always be with me. May God be with you.' '' Rest in peace Irrfan Khan.

the first time i watched "interstellar" was in may 2021, i was in the middle of my depression and school phobia, i was self-harming and crying about 5 times a day. i can say without hesitation that that day in may was the worst day of my life so far. i was so scared to go to school that i had an anxiety attack in the morning, so i was home alone all day. i couldn't think of anything positive. so i decided to put on this movie, i don't even know why. it was a breath of fresh air. it took me out of my dark thoughts. i felt sensations for the first time in months. i shed tears of emotion, not sadness. it didn't stop my depression, of course, but it allowed me to breathe and feel. i never watched the movie again, as if i had made an unspoken pact with myself to only watch it on the worst days of my life. maybe i'm just afraid i'll feel less than i did last time. it doesn't matter. i'll always consider it my favorite movie.

Now I realize why we humans are so intense, why we live so intensely. For us, a date, a number is something important, if something good happens you feel great and you mark that day as a important date. But all this, for time itself, it's less than a grain of sand. All of our lives, dates, history and everything, just as small as a molecule into the universe.. and THIS somehow scares me.

this song sends chills down my spine every time i hear it. it’s like i’m feeling so much and nothing at all. i’m feeling the sadness of the story and yet the hope that this can be so real. our solar system is such a minuscule part of something so much bigger and we have no idea what is out there. there could be another me, doing exactly what i’m doing right now. there could be other colors, other sounds, other sights, all of which we can’t even fathom because our tiny brains can’t imagine what we haven’t seen. god the expanse that is space is so beautiful and terrifying and exciting. this song captivates it all.

I think what makes this track so special is that it gives you a feeling of ...nothing. Like floating in the vast void of space. There is a reminder lingering somewhere,a reminder of your state, but it does not go up to the surface. You can sense somewhere far in your unconcious all the thoughts you've ever had, all the worries, but now there's just...none. You've left them all in the place you yourself had left. You abandoned them when you abandoned home. But it does not matter. It never did in the first place. You're just an observer. This simple fact you tried to disguise before, using concepts and meanings. But now the world has lost structure. Or rather, the structure has crumbled to reveal the world itself. There is no life for you to grasp on. There is no cause for you to be. But there's also no cause for you to not be. And there's only one question in your mind, the only thing that keeps your eyes open: "After all, wouldn't it be sad?"

It connects to me so personally and I didn't expect it to hit that hard. The emotion in every scene when this track played gave me goosebumps, it's such a gorgeous but tear-jerking movie. If I could relive watching this again, I totally would. Thank you for making this and having me discover a movie that'll always make me cry. This song makes me think about the meaning of life. Absolutely beautiful. This movie and score moves me in a way I don't think I'll ever fully understand. I think part of it is that I've always felt drawn to the stars and that blackness behind them. Not because I want to leave this world but because outer space for me calls back to the uncharted depths of our person. We construct our personality using memories, a narrative that is based on events that grow more distant over time. These cement the bedrock of who we are, who we know ourselves to be. But the truth is that they are just little points of light in the dark, fading with time. What we are lies in the darkness between. Despite the characters trekking across interstellar space their journey feels somehow very familiar to me, very human.

I’m a bit high so what I might say may not make perfect sense but please bear with me: For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been obsessed with science, and astronomy, and medicine. I would beg my mother to buy me as many « grown-up » books as possible, even tho I couldn’t understand some words and some concepts, I would burst my ass to find ways to go to museums when some college professors were giving lectures, and I would watch any movie or series that had been approved by The Times or whatever big journals my dad would read. When I first saw Interstellar I cried for maybe 25 minutes non-stop at the end of the screening to be honest. Not because of the actors, or because of the tragic father-daughter relationship, but because that was it : that was the movie that made me understand what we were about. Whenever I listen to this theme, or just to the album in general, I always see hundreds of images of galaxies, and nebulas, and any astronomical occurring phenomenon you can think of, but I’m left rather speechless, with the only sentence I can think of being **it goes beyond** Because it does, we go beyond just our lives, we are one. And the universe goes beyond anything we can possibly think of, and its age, beyond any number we might have. It all goes beyond what we can possibly imagine, and it’s such a relief, to know we are but an insignificant dust molecule in the desert of a sand planet.
