I also remember the apple ll computer video game called 'Aquatron.' Another long lost video game.

Colecovision did a good job converting this. Though I have to say scramble is more playable. This gets old after a short while.

I've only ever seen this game in arcade form once, at the now defunct The Place retro arcade in Cincinnati. I miss that place so much.

Shooting that "X" box gives out the effect of wiping all enemies from a screen (similar to the Cross in Castlevania).

Yeah, colecovision did not have that. Explosions are much larger in the arcade. It is hard to gauge how deadly with immortality turned on as shown.

This is a lot like Scramble. I used to play that a lot when I was a kid. Update, the video just got to tanks. I don't remember tanks in Scramble.

Universal tended to make interesting (sometimes strange) knock offs of existing games. This was definitely their take on Scramble. Mr. Do was of course inspired by Dig-Dug, Ladybug was their Pac-Man, etc.

Please Arcade1up come out with a version of Gorf! I would buy it just to hear that voice trash talking me in my sleep at night.
