For coinops, I batch compressed all the images/videos and cut down the video clips to 15 seconds and it completely sped up the interface. It now works quickly with no delay when switching games or categories. It was easy to do, took less than an hour, or I saw someone posted compressed their own assets links on reddit.

I've see that OneSauce is not as reliable as CoinOpsX when it comes to the LCD Marquees displaying. That's been the only thing holding me back from switching.

Luckyyyyyyy. My coinopsx takes forever for my cabinet to read it and then for it to load. You must have the express version.

I heard coinopsx v5 can play light gun. Can one sauce play light guns as well?

I tried running onesauce a while back, but it only tries to boot, then goes back to the scripter screen, coups it be i need to get a certain Flash Drive?

Sounds like something may have gotten corrupted during the file transfers, I have a new video on a base build for OneSauce 2.0 I uploaded recently, using just a 64gb flash drive

Wonder if its easy to add the missing games. I have CoinOPS, but wonder if we can find and add to the OneSauce list in case its missing a favorite. Does this use Retroarch?

yeah you can add games and game packs to OneSauce, also I know one sauce uses RetroArch

Fantastic video man, I have been using coinops for a few years now, its definitely nice but the slow response time gets annoying at times, trying to scroll through games ends up being a chore and it really kills the mood when browsing through so many games. I think i want to try onesauce, it looks super smooth, does it also have save states and controller remapping? That is a must when it comes to emulation on the Legends ultimate.. also im flustered becasue for some reason my cabinet is having an issue, after booting up, if i press right one the player 1 joystick it just continues to input right even after letting go and then gets all wacky and doesnt input anything correctly, im assuming the CTR board is failing on bootup at times because it does this about 75% of the time and it just started happening, an update didnt fix it, taking it apart and checking the wires didnt fix it, so im assuming it has to be a failure. Hopefully the new CTR board i ordered from ATgames will fix it. But anyway.... awesome video. Keep it up

Yeah I would definitely recommend one sauce! It has save states and controller configuration, it runs retroarch in the back end so anything you can do with retro arch you can do with one sauce. Even adjust screen sizes, screen colors and overlays Ect. I have a video tutorial on how to install it if you're interested! Good luck happy gaming!

It has a few less arcade games but in total OneSauce would have more depending on the packs you are too it, with consoles and everything you can have 10,000 + games on OneSauce

Just curious, before I buy one of these machines, do I need to install one of the added apps to be able to add/remove my own games to the machine? Thx

From factory you really can't add games, you need to put either coin ops x or onesauce on a flash drive and load the games to their respected front end operating system. There's TONs of guides and help out there especially the Awesome sauce Facebook group. Good luck!

You can set buttons to move by alphabetical letter to speed through the lists of games or also set favorites but no you can't actually speed up the carousel

How big is your usb stick for the one sauce?

You can use as little as a 32gb just for the arcade pack or you can use well over a TB for all of the content.

I'm not 100% sure but from what I know the PS3 does run natively in OTG mode and the PS4 does not. I actually just ordered a PS3 today and will be trying this out within the week. I will upload a video once I do and go through everything with you all. Subscribe and you'll know when it comes out!

I deleted one sauce.Never been a fan of playing console games on my arcade cab.Only some beatem ups and fighting games like Maximum Carnage and Tekken I would play on arcade.Coin Ops X is all I need plus it has a BYOG list available if you don’t want the menus.Everything else I play via hdmi into my cab

I like playing Super Nintendo on mine. It's nice because the orientation of Shmups on console is already natively aspected to 4:3 screens so you don't have any bezel on the sides natively when you're playing some games, they also run great! Almost like they were meant to be played on an arcade.

@@TacticalDingus I really didn’t think of scmups which makes sense.The thing is with me I own all the consoles ,emulation etc and prefer to play my console games with the original controllers on my Main TV so I dedicate my arcade machines to be just arcade.
