The hitbox is really a nightmare. I think it's for making you spend more coins. But the 90s atmosphere is so great, the design, the sound, the music really makes me forget my miserbale present.

Wow, I haven't seen this in forever! It was at the local grocery store way back in the day, and to hear that classic SNK jingle really brings back memories! This, Baseball Stars 2, Final Fight and some schmup I can't remember.

When this game was on Nick arcade I remember everybody chose it very fast

and upon closer inspection, the Power Metal vehicle almost looks very similar to the vehicle form of EVAC from the Transformers Ride (wonder if Hasbro and Universal got inspired by SNK to design the EVAC vehicle that way)

I remember seeing this the first time on Nick Arcade. Used to write to that show so much to be on because it hurt my soul watching those kids suck at all those games.

Good game but, some of the enemy design is downright BS. More specifically the final level is rigged. I had a better chance in AOF2.
