The game's designer, Takashi "Piston Takashi" Nishiyama, would later create Kung-Fu Master (Kung-Fu for NES), and later work design games for Capcom and SNK until 2000, when he and fellow Capcom and SNK designer (and longtime friend of Nishiyama) Hiroshi "Finish Hiroshi" Matsumoto would form their own company Dimps, best known for Sonic Advance and Street Fighter IV among others.
