Plot: 'Faraway from Donburi Island (where TwinBee and his friends live) lies a fantastic island known as the Land of Wonders. Its ruler, Queen Melody, has been imprisoned by Archduke Nonsense, who seeks to use the Queen's Harp of Happiness to conquer the world. Flute, a fairy who serves Queen Melody, escapes during the coup d'etat and goes to Donburi island requesting the help of TwinBee and WinBee.'
The follow-up to Detana!! TwinBee (Bells & Whistles in the US), this game was ported to PS1 and Saturn, though they also remained Japan-only as well.
I made two playthroughs on Normal and Special, the latter is shown at 25:48 and you also get double points and a different palette for the levels.

What a fun series. Don't think I've ever played this one but it looks amazing.

The absolute pinnacle of the Twinbee series, and sadly the last shmup of the series before it ended on an RPG on the PS1. Parodius suffered a similar fate, on the PS1 again, but as a strategy RPG.

lol, to think that there's a Parodius strategy RPG. That's so weird. I have to assume they're both probably pretty good games though, considering how strong Konami continued to be throughout the 2000s!

Since the original Twinbee and Bells and Whistles are on the Arcade Archives on Switch, now we need this one on Switch as well. Arcade Archives Twinbee Yahho ESRB rating Everyone Comic Mischief Mild Cartoon Violence.

And that's a fact Everything about this game is... Magnificent! I love the visuals, the powerup system, and best of all... _the music._ Twinbee Yahoo honestly has the best music in all of the Twinbee games and personally my favorite OSTs to any game. I hope Konami brings this franchise back and makes the music just as good as the music in all of Twinbee's series.
