It's because they used the technique of recording EVERY word on a separate vocal file and forgot to optimize it. It's perfectly fine english, but just very broken due to that technique. Though I personally love, "*Character*! Was hit by... THE BANANA!" and "Character! Character 2! I have no idea what these two are going to do!"
