The was a patch late on day one. Which fixed the map issue amongst others

@fondue542 I got totally hooked. In fact, they've released some DLC that I plan to grab, at which point I'll likely just start over from scratch so I can enjoy the whole game again. It's pretty great.

You will like the game more later on. You make so much money with the arcade that you don't have to do laundry anymore. Can also buy powerups to make the day longer and make the machines break down less.

I thought from the trailer that you had to play the games to make money. Is that not the case? I love grindy simulator games. If this really is more about the arcade building and management I think I'd likely really like kt

You can play the games and that upgrades that particular games popularly which will effect how much that game brings in. But at first your main income is the laundromat then you will begin to start making more from the arcade.

Sorry, I cannot finish watching this video. Just seeing the first person view turning and spinning to go around the floor to perform in-game actions in this video made me nauseous from motion sickness.... 🤢🤢

Yeah, it’s not going to be a good one for those with motion sickness, it’s a constant flow of moving around quick, spinning and looking up and down

Why would you want to spend 1h ingame time to clean toilet? You can do it much quicker. The way you showed is very slow.

I never heard of this game until I saw this review. Am I the only one who finds the whole thing utterly unappealing? As others have said, it's a freakkin' chore simulator! What makes this even worse are the logical inconsistencies Alex mentioned (thus breaking immersion), topped off by all those wonderful game mechanics-breaking bugs, too. All this has going for it are some well done retro aesthetics and parodic pop references. The backlog remains safely unscathed... this time. This an easy pass for me.

As someone who puts way too many hours into these kind of chore simulators, I can say that I'm not the only one who finds them really relaxing to play. They are definitely for a niche audience but you'd be surprised at how many people like these kinds of games. One man's chore simulator is another man's treasure 😂

Not your fault. They also purposely kept it ambiguous. The father does confirm Lesley as the sister. I just think it’s a nice feature in this day and age. Besides, you mentioned family issues in the beginning- I hope all is well.

Most reviewers obviously haven’t finished the game before rushing out to be the first to post (which I feel is unfair to the devs and their audience). I appreciate the fact that you’re going to give it a real review when you have more time.

Appreciate that Ames, I like to be transparent when I haven’t beaten something, I review when finished. Only exception is things like racers or sports with no real end game outside a career mode potentially
