Hey Thanks very much for all the info in regards to the Novus 123 products! On another Tangent? I just love love love PINBALL! -And I truly miss it...all the old Kiss and Playboy, Zanadu, etc. I used to own the f14 Tomcat- a Williams game and also Pinbot (which someone blatantly stole the face cover of that one!🤬😡lol) My mistake was selling them 25 years ago.👍😉🇨🇦

I learned quite a lot watching...Tractor Supply had the best deal on VM & Naptha, which surprised me you used as I would've thought would harm plastic, ? guess not minute applications on cloth. And I guess is wiped off anyway with NOVUS#2. Going to use your method to clean up a vintage JVC plastic TV set. Thank you!

Glad you found it helpful! While I can’t use absolutely words like “always and never”. I have not had any problems with using naphtha on most plastics. But I use it as a finishing product. With plastic inside a pinball machine, I would start with novus 2. Then novus 1. Then naphtha to get the residue off. For external plastics, like a tv, video game console, picture frame, etc. I would use N2, N1, and finish with plexus. If there is bad scratching I would start with N3 and work my way down. All that said, many develop and swear by their own techniques. This is just what works best for me.

In my experience, no. It does not warp or fade plastics.

Yes!... I discovered it's recommended to clean off Novus 2 and 3 before you finish with Novus 1@@JustMeDashV

I have used them on automobile plastic without issues. That said, it might be best to try a small area somewhere unnoticeable and see if you’re okay with how that goes before committing to highly visible areas.

That's a great question. I'm not sure. I would be very careful! Maybe try it on a broken junk monitor first. :)

Do you know if Plexus or Novus 1 prevent future scratches or at least make make it harder to get scratches on a plastic surface?

They will not prevent future scratches. They are cleaners/polish. You would want to look into Mylar and/or Pinball Playfield Protectors.

You could use it on the shell of video game cartridges and consoles. Be careful with the labels though. They might get damaged.
