If only I had the space for this, I would definitely grab it. Marvel Vs Capcom was my favorite! I know a lot of people prefer MvC2, but this OG MvC is just so beautiful, the character select screen with the art, the music and most importantly THE LEVELS. the hand drawn levels are gorgeous, especially Strider Hiryus stage, takes me back to his OG arcade game! Beautiful review Gem!

The rendering of MvC2 is importable without better technology. I don’t even think a raspberry pi can render the game correctly.

@@vangoghsseveredear KI is hard to emulate. It needs a powerful cpu such as the Atomic Pi. MvC2 is a little powerful to emulate that the Pi 3b+ can't emulate it. You need a powerful cpu like the Odroid XU4 or the Pi 4 (4gb). So yes, Arcade1up had to use a small cpu powerful enough to emulate games like KI series and Naomi/Atomiswave games.

@@nwo2cool yeah, my point was that KI is notoriously hard to emulate, but they announced it. My point was mainly trying to compare KI vs MvC2 in terms of emulation. But, in hindsight it's a moot point, because the joke of A1Up still hasn't even put up pre-orders and the year is almost over. Lol

Cool pick up Gem! I was never good at those street fighting games. I remember going to the arcade and always playing against some dude who knew all the combos, and I would never get a chance to hit him. But I would always enjoy watching other people play it since they had my favorite Marvel characters.

Nice review! Got mine today and love it. Akuma is in the Marvel Superheroes cab. He is an unlockable character you can use but he does not stay unlocked. You have to do the player selection trick every time ya wanna use him.

Everytime they release these types of arcade games on digital format. I always pick it up on my Xbox. I really do miss those days going to a mall and hitting the arcades. Even local shops would put a cabinet or two and depending on what game we wanted to play (MK, StreetFighter, X-Men etc) that's where we'd get our grub on too.
