What impresses me the most about your reviews is that you're the only one I see that shows viewers what a hairstyle with a product will look after a long day. Definitely earned a like.

Phenomenal clay pomade. The airy, high texture, strong hold, and strong control is what makes this stand above the rest. My only complaint is the fragrance... It's strong. Reminds me of shaving cream. If they do decide to alter the scent, it's important that the airy-strong hold isn't sacrificed. No point in changing the fragrance if the feel of the pomade is altered too.

I wish James or bluuman or someone in the community makes a video explaining the different holds, I'm always confuse with firm, medium, heavy and all the holds as for my type of hair I need something that strong enough to hold my hair for at least 7-8 hours each day... I have tried bearded bastard which has firm hold but isn't strong to keep it up all day, Lockhart matte hairclay is stronger but they seem to lose hold unless you apply a generous amount and during hot days the matte clay can't hold up in the heat... also have bluuman and hanzdefuko which has its good and bad days :/

I have Asian fine hair too, O'Douds matte paste works well at the time being. I read Jame's reviews on Ace High Pomade, Firsthand Supply pomade; those might worth a try since they provide a matte finish.

Jason L. Thanks for the reply, what are you daily products that u use?
@JasonL_Hawaii7 жыл бұрын
Currently, I'm using O'Douds matte paste, Ace High pomade, and occasionally Suavecito Firme or some drugstore product. Most likely, I will be buying another clay product that is under $18 including shipping; so far, Arcadian clay, O'Douds matte paste, and Nostalgic Grooming clay have met my price point.

@pokerface50707 жыл бұрын
Love the product! However, tho I personally love the scent, it definitely is NOT a "light scent" in my opinion. Also I found it did NOT wash out completely with just water. Actually, I shampooed my hair several times with several brands and product residue was still present in my hair (Maybe I'm doing something wrong that someone can help me with? Idk). Besides that, I love the product.

This clay is freaking amazing. It's so light and smooth. It doesn't feel like it has a lot of hold but it keeps shape amazingly well. The only downside is the smell. So strong and medicated. I feel insecure throughout the day because I smell it pretty much all day haha, but not enough of a con to turn me away from using it. Ridiculous
@kevszkar017 жыл бұрын
Iam agree with all you say man, the hold is good but not to strong haha but the shape is amazing
@JasonL_Hawaii7 жыл бұрын
@Aalok Trivedi, @Kevin Karnoto; Dp you have to use a lot to get a comfortable hold? How is the endurance at the end of the day? Does your hair flop down?
@kevszkar017 жыл бұрын
Jason L. I dont know how to say about the hold. But for my experience you will get good amount of it, the strength of this product is so light weighton your hair and for my type hair which is fine and straight my hair doesn'tflops and stay reworkable during day. I hope this will help you
@goldglover897 жыл бұрын
Jason L. I have fine and straight hair as well so I don't need to use a lot. I usually use one or two small scoops. I would say it has a medium hold, not firm hold. It won't lock it in place but it will definitely keep it up and keep its shape throughout the whole day.
@JasonL_Hawaii7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your insight, fellas. I will pick one up soon.

I think so. I paid 45 USD (includes shipping) for it. Compared to Lockhart's it has a higher hold, easier to apply and easier to wash out. I haven't used Prelude or Dead Sea Clay but I bet MM is better in all those categories I mentioned.
