He was damaging staff morale, being insubordinate, and undermining his superiors, myself included, all because he had opinions about company protocols and policies that he didn't agree with, so he decided to do shit his own way. He didn't realize that being the employee and not the boss means part of your job is to shut your mouth and do as you're told, unless you're asked to do something against policy or unethical. He didn't see it that way. So after about a week of that, I called him into work on his day off and fired him.

Pretty sure WWE drew first blood when they suspended him and then kept making barbs about him quitting. The only things in those podcasts that may be up for debate are how the WWE doctor treated his MRSA infection and Ryback. Can't argue with him being suspended. Since Vince had said during that time he was "on a sabbatical" and had later confirmed his suspension and can't argue with him being fired on his wedding day since Vince apologizes for it on that podcast with Austin. Can't even argue about his issue with HHH. No one thought Punk getting the shovel against him was a good idea.

Oh no question that ROH's current landscape is pretty miserable, but I assumed Cornette was insinuating Aries was complaining about the state of ROH during his '09 title reign, which I thought was under Pearce's booking. Aries is en example of a guy who was great and expected that to push him all the way up and be the number one guy. When he didn’t get what he wanted he was sarcastic to people. He even says how sarcastic he is. Unfortunately here’s a life lesson: sarcasm about your job at work is not appropriate. Sarcasm is using irony to mock something. And the truth is when you joke and are sarcastic all the time about what you’re not getting or what he expect people realize you’re not kidding anymore. It comes off like Jim says in a negative way and it can have a bad effect on the other talent and such. WWE obviously ain’t gonna deal with that shit. And I also find it funny that as he walks out of WWE he goes to all these other indie promotions and gets not one not two but like I think 5 or six titles from different organizations on him. That says to me he went and wined about not being the top guy which he thought he deserved and combined with the fact that he is good they just put him over because I’m sure he played it off that it was all everyone else’s fault. Yeah ROH, TNA and WWE were all the issue, not you, right

Maybe instead of doubting, click on my KZbin page and see evidence that I was a pro wrestler, and that I have videos of me wrestling Aries back in the day - one of which lifts clips from about 5 different matches we had. I also have videos of various performances including hosting, stunts, and musical, so I'm obviously not just some rando. And most of them list my full name so you could find my Twitter easily (@StillManFights) and see Aries follows me and interacts with me often. Or go to my Instagram (@USJustinJapan) and see the pic I posted July 9 of us hanging out when he was in Tokyo for a few WWE shows. And if you've ever listened to an Aries interview (or read his new book), he mentions his best friend since grade school Justin who got him into Eddie Sharkey's wrestling camp. That's me. But if you still don't believe, nothing I can do for you.
