The other bar glasses show up both in Vander and Silco's mine hideout in this episode... and on Silco's desk in The Last Drop in S1 (the one that Sevika slices). Side note, I kinda want a set of them, they're classic.

If u noticed in the flashback, jinx's hairstyle is styled after both her mother and Silco. She has her mother's long braid, and the front portion is similar to Silco's. It's possible growing up Silco chose that hairstyle to honor her mother's memory.

Cait's mentions that it has been months since the ends of act 2; like they have been searching for Jinx under martial law for "months". That means no one has seen Jayce, Ekko, or Heimerdinger for months. Ambessa just thought all the scientists dipped but we know something else happened. Act 2 is a very withholding lover, it leaves many questions that we won't get answer until Act 3.

13:36 No. Singed does not have tricks. Stoics don't typically use deception to achieve their ends. Look at Thanos. As his daughter Nebula pointed out: "My father is many things, a liar is not one of them" Singed, like Thanos, let's his enemies defeat themselves by overthinking situations... Singed is calm, collected, calculated. Nobody with those skills needs deception or "tricks" to reach their goals. Tricks are the arsenal of the insecure and fearful, neither of which applies to Singed. Also, Singed isn't "evil". He is a highly intelligent neutral party and preferred loner that 99% of the population misunderstands and greatly underestimates.

Am I the only one who thinks that flashback kinda hurts Silco's arc in the first season? Idk, I think Silco being close to Jinx's mother kinda ruins the whole idea of having a found family and diminishes the power of Slico finally growing to understand Vander. Like, he thought he was weak because he didn't understand what it was like to have someone that close and had a degree of disconnect with the collateral casualty caused by what he was doing. The fact that now he supposedly knew her mom, and was evidently very close to her, makes it harder for me to believe that he wouldn't understand why Vander changed. Not to mention that he clearly didn't know Powder prior to the monkey bomb incident. It also feels bizarre that they wouldn't explicitly mention her in their conversation when Vander was captured in the first season. Idk, to me I find the flashback kinda emotionally manipulative. It doesnt serve the plot in any meaningful way (in fact it complicates things, as Ive said) and it feels like it only exists to make the audience cry. Silco was my favorite character in the first season, so this scene really bothers me. Its one of many things about this season that I honestly don't care for, and it goes hand and hand with the bigger issue with the writing this season, in that it almost feels like the writers didn't understand the characters that they created.

I'm fine with the flashback. I don't think Silco cared about Jinx because of Felicia. Although it's a weird coincidence but I'm ok with it.

I kinda just ignore the flashback, or at least the part where Silco knows Vi and Powder's mother. Season 1 doesn't make sense if he's around Vi and Powder for years before Mom dies or Vander betrays him. I believe he'll kill Vander, but to kill the 12 and 9-year-old daughters of a close friend? Without even any apparent pang of conscience?

@@noodle_fc id need more info on the time frames. Especially with silcos relationships personally with her. Because it does not take very long for people to radicalize and morph. Because who is to say that they were close some 10/11 years later. Assuming since thats about how old vi looked. Maybe even 12. Only thing i dont like about the vague timeframes. Because after a decade i can see. But yeah if they were hanging chummy chummy til the failed rebellion that they died in thats kinda weird.
