The scene between Cait and Jinx is one of my favourites of Arcane. It shows the complexity. Jinx has committed crimes and she sent herself to jail. Caitlyn committed crimes but she is not sent to jail. Both of them are more similar than they care to admit. Caitlyn acknowledges that crimes have been comitted by both of them, that no amount of good deeds can erase OUR crimes. Caitlyn admitting that hating Jinx has made her do horrible unjustifiable things. Jinx genuinely says that she didn’t know her mom was there but she on purpose shot the council, “it wouldn’t probably make a difference” and Cait not saying anything.

So as mentioned by the co creator of Arcane, Christian Linke in an interview, the lovemaking scene between Vi and Caitlyn is a "dialed back version " of an original more daring scene and the original scene is still in some hard drive of Fortiche(studios that created Acane). The fans are raising a petition to release the said scene.

I may be not keeping up with the new lingo, but I keep seeing this same comment on that particular statement by Jinx: "hits hard".. Isn't that supposed to mean "rings especially true in a powerful way"? Except when she says "there's no good version of me", we know it's wrong. We've seen a good version of her in the alternate timeline. So does "hits hard" still work when describing what she said? Is it that it hits hard that she can no longer see any good in herself, despite that it's there? To be honest, language things bug me. Even the way we describe things like this. Cutting through it all, yes she's Jinx, but it's just a name, tagged on the same person who's always changing, because we're all always changing. And when we ask if there's any good in a person, of course there is. There are moral choices and immoral choices, but they don't change that we can alter our habits and make the moral ones if we could only see them better and understand why it's so important to make them. And I'm going to spoil it for people on this path: Human liberty. We need to allow people to be free, not restrict them and threaten them and punish them for breaking rules some say we need for civilization which we really don't. The only punishable crimes are those with undeniable victims, and even those punishments should be measured carefully against the will and intention of the one who commited the crime. If they can see, or be made to see, why what they did was wrong, a harm to liberty or human well-being, and if they want to fix it and no longer commit such acts, then they should certainly repay those they harmed, but depriving them of time to live isn't needed. An sorrowful eye for an eye does no good.
