John is every good and moral black man in America. P.S. An if John lawyer wasn't so immoral maybe John might have healed his son. Michael should have won an Oscar for playing John Coffey! Oh and there is a story about a Roman soldier who helped kill Jesus was cursed to live until Judgement Day too.

I never got over how everyone in King's Landing realised that Sansa disappeared right after Joffrey's death. But no one ever mentions how Littlefinger also vanished at the same time

Just a quick comment; nought to do with this reaction ~ I haven't seen any of the movies in this playlist so I cannot really react to the reaction, bit I have enjoyed your reactions in the past and I wanted to ask if you were likely to react to Badhaai Do! from 2022, or a lesbian web series called The 'Other' Love Story? Will keep checking in hoping to see reactions to other movies I've seen. Goddess watch over you, kerk hiraeth; Scotland.

Your reaction is as long or longer then others, but If you rewatch this, do you not have the feeling that you leave the most spectacular scenes out? Don't get me wrong: I like your way of reacting, but i miss the important scenes!!

21:00 Clueless? Id politely disagree. Not only did he know that their guards were paid off and people were coming to kill his father, he also was quick on his feet to come up with a plan to save them without violence (tho he chooses violence right after by killing sollozo and the cop). Plus he grew up with the family and is most like his father out of the 3 brothers in terms of strategic thinking. Id argue he knows a great deal more than you seem to think.

The core theory is from Hindu Vedantha, which narrates a story of young boy fighting with an old man trying to get in to the bus, the moment he realised it is his neighbour or distant uncle he softens and gives all help. Like PM Modi says "Vasudevaka Kudumbagam" the world is one large family. Respect the other person the way you want to be respected and loved. simple theory. There shall no wars, no conflicts anywhere around us. Hard theory but it is a fact.

"How quickly does it grow?", you asked. You should understand that from the moment that the creature came out of Kane's chest to the moment they got the equipment together to go look for the alien, there was probably something like 2 hours lapsed. They had to first get out of the sheer shock of what they just saw, then they needed to clean the blood off themselves, then they needed to prepare Kane's body for the burial and conduct it, then they got organized around conducting a search. Getting over the shock and getting cleaned up would have taken a while, right? This is something that reactors often get wrong. You look at the film and think, "oh, it's only been 15 minutes or something" when that is just the editing by the film makers. They didn't show you everything that had to happen and the time elapsed between the death of Kane and when the fully-grown Alien was discovered.

Calypso, I see that you are angry with Captain Dallas for going to the planetoid in the first place. But please don't miss the important point that they are all being ordered to go there by the Company. They didn't have a choice, unfortunately. That said, you are right when you complained that Kane was going in to explore WAY too closely with the "eggs or something". I would have been lowered to the floor, seen that there were "leathery objects" in there, but no humans and no intelligent life forms to communicate with. Then I would have said, "OK, pull me back up. There's nothing we can do here". Right? Unless the contract says that, along with responding to the beacon, the crew are required to "collect specimens", or something like that. I wouldn't think it would because collecting something like that would require some kind of self-preserving safety protocol, which is decidedly not what Kane practiced. Yeah, I would have walked away and told the Company that there were "life forms" in there but we were not equipped or trained to interact with it!

You can tell at one point how Boggs doesn't trust Gale after Gale essentially created the plot to entomb civilians. When Gale says, 'So we're not gonna fight?' And Boggs chastises him in front of everyone by saying, 'You'll do what you're told soldier. You're job is to follow orders, not ask questions!' You can tell how much he resents Gales bloodlust...and President Coin's enthusiasm in utilizing his immoral strategies.
