The easter eggs in this show are just in the background. They dont really affect the story so dont worry about that. Also they didnt use any mocap in this show which makes it even more amazing.

03:35 - "So, I don't know if we're at a disadvantage for not knowing any of the lore or not." No story worth its salt should depend on any external media to succeed. The narrative has to stand on its own.
@herpyderpy43665 ай бұрын
Ehh, I *kind* of agree, in that that should *usually* be the case. But there is certainly room for exceptions where having an expectation of background knowledge can allow the work to be conveyed in a way it otherwise couldn't. Not everything needs to be tailored for newcomers. But most things should.

The animation in this show accomplishes three things really well. They have really subtle facial movements that emote really well (good example being whenever the characters cry - it's remarkably subtle and does a great job of emotionally investing the viewer). Movements and impacts really feel like they have "weight", and the way they blend 3d and 2d animations are really well done. Overall, the show's animation does an amazing job of avoiding the uncanny valley with its visuals. It's easily the biggest sleeper hit of 2021 for me, and may overall prove to be a real benchmark in animation long term.
@RelaxwithJC2 жыл бұрын
I agree the animation and visuals are stunning. And just make me in awe of how they accomplished it. I think this will be a banchmark in details for other animated works now. I wouldn't exactly call it a sleeper hit. It overtook squid game pretty immediately for Netflix's most watched show. I think a lot of that has nothing to do with America though.

A detail I noticed, just in watching this reaction, is that when Grayson sets the capsule down on the counter, it rocks back and forth slightly as it finds its resting point. It's a tiny detail and wholly unnecessary but it adds a ton. Like a legendary reviewer once said, " You might not have noticed it, but your brain did."

I’ll say this lore helps in understanding, but the show is more impactful if you don’t know the lore, keep in mind the writers trimmed almost all the fat. So they flirt with the line of giving you just enough information to understand things. Best approach is to make your own theory’s if they don’t provide them.

The show is actually better if you know nothing about League. You are more surprised and have fewer preconceived notions of how characters might behave. If you really want to see the easter eggs there is a 20-minute video that runs through all the things that non-league players could have missed. The channel that does it best is Necrit and he does it in 3 parts. The show is definitely worth the watch. Riot spent 6 years making it and over 100M in budget. Somehow despite knowing that it still exceeds expectations. PS. This episode is imo the worst in the series and it's still phenomenal. The rest of the show just gets exponentially better!

Just needed to say - I don't know what the deal is but your camera is for some reason blurry/out of focus the entire video, and after checking, it seems to be the same way on other videos of yours. Watching this for more than a minute or two causes a headache and eye soreness and I'm sure I'm not the only one experiencing this. Please check your camera focus or if this is some kinda intentional filter...please consider removing it. It's literally unwatchable as it is for me and probably some others. Cheers

@No-Kung-Fu2 жыл бұрын
@@RelaxwithJC Hmm ok. Usually with a poor camera the image quality is bad (ie grain/low res) but not necessarily out of focus. This seems like a focus issue not a "quality" issue. Maybe it can be solved by adjusting the focus a bit. Either way you know your camera better than me so I wont try to pretend I know what the issue is. Oh well.
