She is now a fairly old champion, She had a retcon however this only changed her age and her power level, She was already powerful but with the Ionia spirit they basically made her one of the strongest human mages and the main magic power within Ionia in the same status as Karma, all syndra lovers are waiting for a legendary for her as in her base she already has different spells animations with the passive upgrades

So about her lore: her short story "The Dreaming Pool" is basically about her when she was imprisoned by the Spirit of Ionia. Turns out the magical slumber is actually a dreaming chamber that made her experience a repeating dream over and over. The dream was when her brother tormented her as a child, when she went to the Ghost Willow. Right after she was about to unleash her power against him and his friends for tormenting her, the dream repeats endlessly, until she was awakened. It is revealed that she was awakened because a Vastaya group actually wanted to slain her (or try to reason with her to help them against Noxus). She of course refuses and slains them all. Then she rips out the fortress and flies away. Syndra is actually not a villain, although she looks like one and her voice is outdated. She is seen as more of a neutral loner figure, and as an immense power source, neither good nor bad. This means that the Spirit of Ionia wanted her alive for some reason, since it only trapped her in the repeating dream instead of harming her, indicating that there's a much bigger fate awaiting Syndra. But her current whereabouts have not been explored yet.

Snowday Syndra throws snowballs at you in game. There is no coming back after that, its just the best. Also, yeah Syndra's lore is really underdeveloped. Shes one of the oldest champions (2012), and has had several gameplay updates, but never a holistic look and update to her lore or voicelines.

Now that she is free, we simply need to wait and see what role she will play. So far, Syndra honestly just minds her own business and hasn't really done anything evil (besides killing her mentor, but then again, that was complex). She doesn't go out of her way to harm others; she simply despises all those who seek to exploit or suppress her ever again, as she had experienced all of her life before her freedom.

She is currently pretty decent in the current meta. She has been a pretty stable throughout the years. I personally play her quite a lot in mid lane. Less than Lissandra but id say shes my number 2 pick. She has not been reworked but the thing that has changed is her passive. She didnt always have the slinyers of wrath passive But overall you could say her kit hasn't really changed much

This was my first time hearing her theme, I wasn't expecting to like it so much! It's somber and intimidating, I think it fits very well

The "Dreaming Pool" is a cool short story to learn more about how she woke up, also snow day syndra is secretly the best. The other ones look cooler but there is something about walking around like a normal person, saying psychopathic things, and murdering gods with snowballs that the other skins just miss. Also until star guardian was released it was just the best skin

12:19 I agree, but also, I'd like to have all the OG characters that don't have one yet, and the early ones that also dont have one yet, to get one first xd 20:19 i dont rly play her anymore, but if i get her in ARAM, I use my star guardian skin
