OMG Blink and you'll miss it moment! When Caitlyn awakens Vi in the old shack at 19:14, we see *Vi's mother* calling her name with little Powder next to her; it's a distant memory of this place. And her mom has long blue braids, which probably influenced Powder to wear braids as Jinx. The level of detail in this show is insane and I love it.

i honestly think the flare scene was the best moment in the show. the build up from the flashback of vi telling powder to light the flare up so she would be able to find powder, to the emotional pull of the song and the flare being lit up. then everything just builds up from there, things kept adding up to the emotion and the mylo and claggor behind jinx scene was so meaningful and impactful. even the aftermath of the scene is so beautiful, when jinx and vi saw each other again and then the decline of the moment when caitlyn showed up.

Nah dude, it's either the end of Episode 3 or the finale. The flare scene is excellent, but the end of episode 3 is the one that proved this show was gonna take off the kids gloves. That's the one that tore everyone's heart out. That's the one that said "Yeah, we made an League of Legends show, and it's better than Game of Thrones ever was." And I don't think I need to explain why the finale is so incredible. Luckily, we can disagree and still both be right - nearly every scene in the show, nearly every pay off is a fucking masterwork. :P

It was so good that Hideo Kojima posted it on Instagram. He was invited to watch the first episodes on a prime show with selected guests, which he rejected. And when he reached that scene he posted publicly that he repented over not accepting the invitacion.

I mean Jayce is right about Heimerdinger, he's a nice guy but he founded this city and has been it's leader for 200 years, that means he's overseen it's descent into this mess with Piltover and the Underground and did nothing to stop it or fix it, he's a nice guy but a terrible leader. Too idealistic and complacent, everything was going wrong, the people of the undercity were being mistreated and oppressed, the council was rife with corruption and Heimerdinger just never noticed.

But it's unfair blaming one person and expecting him to solve all of their problems. His voice in the council weighs the same as every other councilor even though he founded their nation so even if he wanted to do something, it can't be done without the others agreeing. Those other councilors are enriching themselves and furthering their businesses through their positions while the undercity struggles. They are as guilty, if not more, as Heimerdinger for letting the corruption and their problems go unresolved. Mel said it herself, Heimerdinger is just a scientist not a politician and that's why most of his attention goes towards the Academy and not their nation's politics. They're hypocrites for removing Heimerdinger's seat in the council while keeping their's.

@pizzaria that’s both his issue and one of his best character traits. He’s uncorrupted by politics. You. An see in the opera scene he’s blind and deaf to the political musings, which his kept him uncorrupted unlike jace but makes it difficult for him to make change.

For starters, he's in charge of scientific and academic issues, not government policy like the others, so even if he's the founder and blind to corruption, he couldn't have done much about it because the other higher-ups would have stopped him because It doesn't suit their schedules. He is right that one learns from the past so as not to make future mistakes, looking to the future without analyzing the past and issues brings destruction. The only downside with Heimer is that he didn't act on corruption, because he was too virtuous and ignorant of the kind of people he worked with.

Jayce is right about the city's problems, but he misuses them from the wrong angle or for his own convenience. Jayce doesn't want to help Zaun either, only Piltover. Besides that Jayce is also idealistic and corrupt. His idea that you have to look to the future forgetting the past, without learning from it and taking the lessons and good things, will only be another type of error for his government. I don't know why the people in the video agreed with his vision since that idea is also naive, but I imagine it's because they have a simple mindset and don't understand the same message that the series wants to give you.

Heimerdinger has massive character flaws, though, which is why he is not neccessarily wise: 1. He is ruled by fear and only ever sees the worst outcome, thus his "solution" to everything is society staying in the past, preserving the Status Quo... which means Heimerdinger is _not_ a scientist, because a scientist strives for progress of knowledge. Heimerdinger is like a medieval monk who copies old texts but burns "heretical" new writings. Heimerdinger would forbid fire to cavemen. 2. His long near immortal life in the proverbial "academic ivory tower" (where all his needs are met) has made him aloof and arrogant and blind to the needs of others who are living in the shitty real world.

@cirila of cintra Singed though is a true Lawful Evil. His experiments are the things of nightmares, he once cut 2 ppl in half and created 1 body from 2 different halves then made it live. He creates weapons for Noxus from chems that you'd rather not know about. He creates a werewolf out of... somebody who used to be a high ranking boss in Zaun and turns him loose in the lower regions of Zaun... you see this in the finale sort of with the body hanging up in Singeds lab at the end of ep9... pretty gruesome shiz he's kinda like Dr Frankenstien if nobody had of stopped him.

@cirila of cintra Mel's mother whilst the head of a major family in Noxus is almost a nobody and I think she's the one that got her son killed. If her Son had of done something that got him killed I don't think there would be a further threat against Mel... if you listen to when Ambessa says "The man who killed your brother doesn't belive the score is settled" but she also says "I have to make the tough decisions to keep our family safe!" Then there's "We need that weapon Mel!" I think Ambessa made a decision to keep her Family safe and it went wrong "The Man" IMO refers to Swain whose going to be Grand General of Noxus. Ambessa also wants Hextech weapons I think there's 2 reasons for that... 1. She needs them to settle the score Or 2. To even the odds. We'll find out in season 2... which could see Singed play a larger role in the proceedings, I deffo think we'll see a Champion from Noxus in Season 2 which could be Swain, Draven, Darius, Katarina... Noxus would have more than one reason to have someone in Piltover & Zaun, their wars with Ionia & Demacia have yet to start as of yet which would mean they have yet to get Singed to build their chem Tech weaponry...

Cause while he was characteristically bad there was still effort put into him like the focus on his regret and his daughter and while unlike most others he wasn't the most amazingly established character he didn't need to be since he was only on screen for a bit and had a minor role. He had a part to play and he played it well
