Warwick has a sound cue in-game whenever he is chasing someone's scent, is the same sound you hear at the end of the first video when he smells the blood of that dude's hand. And riot put that same sound cue in the first season 2 teaser, the one that is just jinx and Cait speaking, at the end you hear a howl and Warwick's characteristic chasing sound You can also hear it when Silco says to Vander: "I'll show you what you really are" in episode 3, though it doesn't sound that clear.

the possibility is high but if it's not vander, it's maybe just another experiment by singed and warwick will come in season 2 for sure.

That exact sound is also in Season 1 episode 3, when Silco says to Vander *I'll show you what you really are* before dragging him him to the locked chair.

@@hankuroid Warwick in game says to Vi "Who taught you how to punch?" and "The fear in your eyes. I've seen it before.", the last one refering to the scene from season 1. Also he says "You were there..." and "Let me forget..." to Jinx. So, summarizing all other facts -- theres no way, Warwick isnt Vander

He has voicelines in the Game when Vi and Jinx are there too as champions. They've been in the game for years, but only started making sense after Arcane, and only poured gasoline on the theory fires that Vander is indeed Warwick when people went back to those voicelines and analized them after watching Arcane. Nothing has been confirmed by Riot ofc, but basically everyone in the League Lore community has accepted it as fact.

4:37 the reason he doesnt kill the girl here, is most likely because he recognizes the drawing on the wall behind the wall. its one of jinxes/powders drawings. and its not conformed but, thats probally what triggered vanders humanity there. and made him regain some conciousness.

Great reaction as always! The reason warwick turns red and the thing on his back have a purpose, though this might be changed for arcane, or it might not, we're really not sure what they're gonna do with Warwick and Singed, there are SO many directions for them to go. But the reasoning that we have currently for warwick going red and the thing on his back is quite dark. He was created to be a sort of killing machine, for Singed to see how far he could push a human and how much he could make them into a beast. So when Warwick smells blood, it's like he literally see it, and resisting to follow the blood is very hard, on top of this, as he gets adrelanine and the more blood he smells, the machine on his back activates. What it does is infuse him with more chemicals, and also quite literally shove a huge spike into him. This makes him extremely angry and filled with rage and adrelanine, making him even more dangerous. So he might not be that dangerous if nobody is around, but with just a hint of blood the spikes and poisons activates, making him insanely angry, and his urges completely take over. at 2:20 you get a pretty clear view of this, he smells blood and the spikes activates, firstly switching colour because it mixes with his blood and poisons him, and secondly thrusting the spike into his back, which makes him scratch the floor and then smash the smoke thingy next to him. Most of the time he's not able to snap out of it, but perhaps he was able to not hurt the girl in the second video because she reminded him of Powder (jinx) and Vi. It is tragically beautiful that even in his beastly form filled with raged and pain, the only thing he can truly care about and that can go above his urges is his love for Jinx and Vi. Sorry for writing so much, and remember that all of these things may change for arcane, or they might stay exactly the same, nobody really knows which is what makes it exciting to me. Anyways I loved your reaction and I'm glad you're enjoying the world of runeterra so far!

@@MrGuybrush The thing about Warwick is that he has a strong healing factor, that's why he is able to resist the injuries the mechanism on his back is inflicting. The healing is also a core part of his gameplay. So when the mechanism activates, he is literally in constant pain and healing at the same time and he gets uncontrollable rage. He was conditioned to follow the blood trail.

Now this is the true 'hound of the underground' which is still kinda funny, that they decided to have that chick in ep 1 call Vander that. The person talking in Eye of the Beast is most likely Singed. Ingame WW can sense blood with an ability, which gives exactly a red trail just like in the cinematic. Chasing someone makes him move faster. 2:27 you might remember this theme from Arcane ep 3, it's also used in 'Arcane: Season 2 Announcement' trailer. Actually this was the rework of Warwick, the champion was launched in 2009 with the official game launch. He had a lore change i think with the rework but i don't know the details. Is possible than with the series his lore change more even now so even we that play the game since 2009 don't really know what is going to happen in Arcane season 2.

oroginal Ww was nothing more that a werewolf, new lore introduced Singed and his "humanity" Arcane intenrionally (or not) gave a name and a past to him. Before Ww was nothing more than something like Zac or Dr Mundo, powerful being with no actual origin to be have.

Old WW was an evil werewolf who wanted to eat celestial blood (Whoch he tasted from fooling Soraka) and would hunt Soraka specifically. Honestly, I like the new one more. More in depth.

i am a lol palyer and i have a lot of fun watching you cus it reminds me when i started it all(im kind of a nerd and i need to know everything forom lore before playing) and it took me some time to lern it all, just watch all cinematics. Actually it looks like it's a continuation but it was never confirmed. He actually stop himself because the little girl looks like Powder. Yet, it's still not confirmed by the writers if Vander will end up to be Warwick but also, we can't deny the fact that there are a lot of hints that Warwick was indeed Vander. We have to wait for Riot's confirmation

It's extremely obvious that it's Vander just from the voice line interactions and the backstory reading alone. The "gangster that decided to try to be better" background. Mentions of his fragmented memories from when he was still a man and how he still remembers a girl screaming a name (Powder at the end of Ep3), reflections of a man with facial hair who had scars on his arms and a blade covered in blood (Vander had scars from the blade that Silco used against him when he was trying to end SIlco in the river). In Ep3 Silco says "I'll show you what you really are" which lines up pretty well with Warwick's acceptance that he was always a beast inside even before the transformation. I mean the first time we ever see Vander in Arcane, he's beating people down with iron fist weapons. Violence is something he was really known for before he adopted the kids. Savika called him out as appearing weak for not wanting to be violent anymore, and was disappointed that he didn't want to fight. So yeah. I would be VERY surprised if Warwick somehow ISN'T Vander at this point, it's literally spelled out for us lol.

I'm not sure if I would describe watching the old cinematic as a spoiler, the creators surely knew the community would figure out this piece of information. Riot Studios is excellent at dropping little "hints" that you are supposed to find. I'm sure this won't spoil anything in the show.

by the time the second cinematic was made arcane wasnt canon yet once arcane became canon that one became non canon cuz that one is still considering the now non canon singed and his many experiments thus he has that number the original cinematic may yet be canon or might even happen in season 2

I wouldn't worry too much about spoiling Warwick for season 2. I think the creators of the show are writing everything with the idea that a lot of league players know who these characters are but they write them in a way that is still very fun to watch for league players and new fans. For example me knowing who Powder will become, didn't ruin Jinx for me at all.

His name is spelled "Warwick" as you know but it's English and only the first "W" is pronounced so if you try to pronounce it as "War-ick" you will be correct. (second "w" is not pronounced) I was a jungle Warwick main for a couple years. (LOVE him but he is not that strong any more)
