@@Reactsandgames Bro, what is the impetus for so many people saying that Vi was thinking that it "should have been her that was the people's champion"? What did Vi do to illicit that as a thought in anyone's head? She was locked in prison for 7 years nd when she got out she hooked up with a Piltover enforcer. That's crazy in the eyes of people who live in the undercity. Meanwhile, Jinx blew up the council in Piltover AND she redirected "the grey" (that Caitlyn sent down there to cover her fuck tactical mission poisoning the citizens in the process), by sending it up the ventilation shafts into topside. To the citizens of the undercity those acts, that Jinx perpetrated, were revolutionary. So, why do you say that it should have been Vi? Vi wasn't even thinking that when she was staring at that mural. The look on her face suggested that she couldn't see her sister the way everyone else saw here and certainly not as a hero, because she sees her sister as a fuck up and a scourge. Her feeling like it should have been her up there doesn't even line up with her personal disposition. Also, Singed didn't wake up and do anything to Warwick / Vander. Vander's "healing" was reverted when Viktor died just like everyone else on that commune. Remember, Singed and Ambess's goal was to CAPTURE him, not turn him into a nearly unstoppable threat. That's why they brought that big container up there with them. And think for just one second, my dude. How do YOU think Ambessa got free? Could it be that she has an entire detachment of Noxian soldiers there with her and after a bit someone would figure out that she isn't around giving orders anymore? Or that she simply came to her senses as that snare is essentially just a stun weapon and broke free on her own? And finally... Isha sacrificed herself to save everyone else. She's dead, my guy. She overloaded Jinx's hex-pistol with enough gemstones to create a magical blast at least the equivalent to what Powder did 7 years prior if not greater.

Isha's song, the last words the Chinese singer says translates to this: "I'm just fine this way" meaning that she didn't want to die but she accepts it has to be that way. Isha's name also multiple meanings, two of the most important are "Healer & The One Who Protects". That brush moments are intentional; we saw ourselves as a kid in brighter memories. Memories where all was bright, colorful, and joyful. We never wanted to change that, but we did. Also, two symbolism, Isha’s paint color is blue symbolism for Powder as she is catching up to Jinx purple to heal her soul. Also notice how Jinx’s eyes flutter blue at least twice as they are jumping. Now Isha's soul says those last words to Jinx, unheared by death, echoed on us. This show is the epitome of show, don’t tell. So many times, I wish more dialogue was written, or I wrote it my own. But they left it up to the audience to interpret the situation based on their own perceptions. And this truly epitomized by the character of Isha, a character that is mute, doesn’t say a single line of dialogue, which also represents the voices going away in Jinx’s head. People don't realize it yet, but the writers made their point of this act very clear from the beginning. The second we see Maddie with Caitlyn, we feel betrayed and hurt, some even hate Maddie herself. We feel bad for Vi and we feel cheated on as an audience, but time and people move forward, even if it's temporarily or attempt to "fill a hole,” but Maddie also played a secondary role; to help keep Cait's humanity. Warwick and Isha's roles were to heal Jinx, bring back her humanity, heal sisters and a family. And just like the intro of the act, it's the outro, we have it all torn away and are betrayed.

Another example of their superb "show don't tell" prowess, is when they explicitly tell us how much of a timeskip has passed since Vi &Caits act one breakup.. it's one year exactly, how do we know this? Because at the opening of the episode and after the montage that shows how martial law has squeezed the people of Zaun, we see Cait commemorate the death of her mother by laying candles at her statue I also love how they tell too, it's very subtle and everyone has seemed to overlook it as is usual for those types of characters, but Ambessa is clearly missing Mel and has almost turned Cait into a surrogate daughter of sorts.. the way "we are KIN!!" grabs a reaction from Rictus meditating in the corner shows exactly how much that seemingly throwaway exclamation actually meant, this is further confirmed shortly before Rictus meets his end when he's holding Caitlyn by her neck and says "Ambessa believed in you... Your death, will be a deep cut" which basically tells us that Ambessa wasn't just manipulating Caitlyn but really saw something in her &respected her prowess, almost in a kind of "I wish Mel could've been this receptive to my teachings" kind of way, this is all finally topped off at the end when Ambessa happens upon Rictus ripped to pieces on the ground and Caitlyn obviously having betrayed her.. the double loss of a new surrogate daughter/protegee and her most trusted confidant.. a man who's probably been with her through god knows how many battles.. she uncharacteristically breaks her typically stoic icy veneer and screams for an attack Ambessa lost her composure only one other time in the entire series (after facing/surviving the nightmare that was WarVander she barely looked fazed) and it was in season one where she broke down with Mel revealing she actually exiled her to keep her safe There are so many other spoken unspoken, subtle and overt methods of beautifully crafted storytelling throughout it's really something to behold, my ONLY peeve is that we don't get more than we're getting and I have no idea how they'll wrap EVERYTHING we've been roped into with 3 more episodes considering we have seen NOTHING of Ekko and HD for act2, Heimy is a pretty minor character but Ekko has a huge role to play and juggling his arc resolution with whatever tf Jayce saw in there, Jinxes inevitable depression arc Viktors glorious evolution Mel's ascendancy as a newborn sorceress and Cait &Vi realising they might not be right for each other nomatter how much they love each other and the big finale of Ambessa/Noxus vs Piltover/Zaun it's gonna be a helluva tight squeeze I heard whispers that the new series they're planning will focus on Noxus and their invasion of Ionia which is very clever, alot of stans were hoping for Demacia, so they can get their film of Swords and Magism, but Noxus being a territory that has roots/influence almost everywhere on Runeterra make it the perfect jumpoff entry point to multiple characters without being toomuch of a narrative leap, if they focus on the Ionian invasion we can get Rivens story (she has history with Ambessa) Darius and his brother, Yasuo and other great champions, if the focus is through Mel, then that widens the scope cause Shurima might be introduced aswell, either way Noxus seems to be the ideal faction to focus on with the next series and I for one am looking forward to it.

I’ve never posted this anywhere on the internet. And as a watcher of reactor videos, mainly Arcane, I probably comment about 30-40% of the time on some channels. I personally don’t like doing it everywhere because I feel like it becomes disingenuous eventually. It is nice to feel part of a “channel/community” but understandably, it’s not easy to react or comment to every person comment, especially as you get bigger and grow. I have probably watched Arcane an unhealthy number of times, not even on my own but just reaction channels and there are plenty of good one’s out there. But there’s only a few I will post this. I played league from season 5-season 9, I only got into league because I had a little sister who wanted to play the game, but none of her friends cared to play it. The main reason she wanted to play it was because she saw a cool trailer for a kid who could control time, she loved his character design, details, smarts of being an engineer, and as she said “seemed like a real G.” That character was Ekko. She passed away in 2019 from suicide and when you lose a sibling, it sends you to a very dark place. I stopped playing League and I still haven’t touched it since. As someone who knew the lore, the characters the background, etc. Arcane Act 2 is truly a piece of artwork in some many contextual ways. As I am now in my early/mid 20s, it helped heal me and connect with my sister, even in the darkest moment of the show & life. Rest in Peace Eliza Faye. 02/09/2019

I've seen a few people shocked by how quickly Cait flipped in episode 6, but honestly I think if you're really paying attention to her arc in the previous 2 episodes it's not a surprise. She clearly doesn't trust Ambessa already and wants to make peace and let go of her anger but is struggling to do so. One of her first scenes in episode 4 literally starts with a fireplace where the flames have died down to just the last few embers, until Ambessa grabs a poker and begins stoking it to get one more lick of fire Then in episode 5, Cait finds out just how far Ambessa is willing to go to get her hands on some powerful weapons, including going behind her back and making deals with monsters like Singed Not to mention Cait's attitude on Singed himself going: This doctor is the worst kind of monster Zaun has to offer -> Oh wait this guy is a Piltovan who is unleashing poison and monsters on the innocent citizens of the undercity -> He is doing all of that out of love for a deceased family member -> If I continue down the path I'm on... is this who I'm going to become? All she needed was one more little push, and Vi asking for her help to keep from losing her only remaining parent was it

I left a really long comment that seemed to have got swallowed up! I'll try and repost it. There's a lot of subtle stuff going on with Caitlyn in this season. Right from the start we see her doubting being with Ambessa, and she openly says she doesn't trust her, causing Ambessa to realise she has to keep stoking the flames. There is a lot of subtle body language with her that shows her distrust and misgivings. Also, a great example is at the start with Maddie. She pulls away from her at every opportunity, it's very clear she has no emotional feelings for Maddie - it's her way of coping, like Vi fighting is. Vi and Caitlyn may have fallen out, but they both need and love each other. Ambessa knew this, which is why she knew they had to stay apart. As soon as they reconnect it's all over for Ambessa, as it proves. Vi and caitlyn teaming up should be no suprise whatsoever, the ground work was already laid. Of course that's not saying everything is forgiven or forgotten (that rifle to the face and the spit clearly shows that) but there's obviously something strong between them. The change in Caitlyns entire expression and demeanour when she sees Vi again is remarkable (and deliberate). Final point: when Vi does spit in her face, Caitlyn smears it into her mouth while staring directly into her eyes.

I think what it was is that the arcane caused a body snatched invasion through Viktor, and Jayce seen it how it controls and takes everyone. Great reaction!! I don’t know if this will get a happy ending but I think we will get to see Ecko next time and I look forward to that.

you are not supposed to understand Jayce at this point, you can just theorize that he saw what Viktor would become and he was desperate to stop him additionally if you rewind back to end of episode 5, you can see Jayce's breath in the cold room, but not Salos', which coud indicate that the people touched by Viktor are practically dead, which is only supported by them collapsing after Viktor was shot

It's interesting to see people's reactions to Warwick. In-case you didn't know, league players actually never knew who or how Warwick was made, but he had in-game voicelines specifically with Singed, Caitlyn, VI, & Jinx(who were all original characters released back in 2010). Arcane is the introduction to these characters, in a long form media. Mixture for long-time fans of game and general audiences. Players didn't know or even guess Warwick was Vander until 3 years ago when they kept dropping teases about him "Being Hound of the Underground" or "Release the beast inside" along with showing at the end of season 1, a hanging beast which would've been Vanders corpse. I personally played league from season 5 to season 9. Each year is a season, and the game was launched in 2010. They are on season 14 now. So they are using Arcane to solidify some characters' backstories and lore and re-working some characters such as Jayce & Viktor. (You can fact check me but I think League has up to 168-178 champs which is quite a bit) Season 1 included 9 champs which were/are Jinx, Vi, Caitlyn, Ekko, Jayce, Viktor, Singed, Heimdeinger, and we can now confirm Vander is Warwick Season 2 - They made Ambessa a playable champ, and there's a few teases of other champs that I won't reveal until end of the series this upcoming weekend

That's not true, Vi was released at the end 2012, Jinx in 2013 and Caitlyn in 2011. Also, if i'm not mistaken, the voicelines you mentioned date back to Warwick's character rework that went live during 2017, so much much later.

Some Act 2 Call Backs - Jayce, Ekko, and Heim definitely saw some evil twisted world. We are so sad and focused on the "Arcane" (getting vander back, all the happiness) that we didn’t focus on the little sinister details behind the scenes. One Salo isn’t breathing when they are in the hexgate mesh, they also did very quick camera flutter, but they show a very sinister image of non-human existing instead of salo as a human. Also, I don’t think a lot of people noticed, but Vander didn’t just disappear because of Viktor’s death. Good catch on Singed waking up and injected the Serum into Warwick after Caitlyn, Vi, and Jinx walked out, many people didn't catch that since they don't show it directly. Also Season 1 Vi - “Oil and Water” / Season 2 - Caitlyn - “You look like an angry oil slick.” Exact same cup, straw and juice Powder drank. I don't think many people caught, but when Vi is mentioning her plan, she actually talking to Jinx and you know that because the end statement is her saying "You won't like it." referring to that they need to trust Caitlyn, and she ironically didn't tell Caitlyn that Jinx knew about the plan the whole time.

I'm unsure if you two caught it, but the reason the blast from Jinx's pistol (Zap-Zap) is so powerful is because of Isha intentionally overcharging it. With the hexcore that was already in it, Isha ended up reloading two more. If ya look abit back when they are first entering the peaceful village...Isha glances at Vi's gauntlets that were dropped on the ground. It's very possible that as Isha went to go steal Jinx's gun back from the security of the village, she swiped the two hexcores that were in the gauntlets.

What people fail to understand is that it's not Jayce in control but the Arcane, what Viktor did with the hexcore angered the Arcane, and so in retaliation the Arcane made Jayce into his assassin to get rid of the thief (Viktor).

This will forever be how I regard Isha - She has the mage power of Sylas and being unshackled, the embodiment of Darius representing Noxian might, the Freljordian godly hood of Ornn to forge, heal and mend broken souls. The inner child, laughter, and innocence of Yordles represented by Teemo. The spirit of Ionia to the likes of Shen and Yasuo to protect those & land that you love. Imbued with power of the sun disc from Shurima to ascend, and lastly the combined spirts of Targon to reach the powers Leona and Diana - Sun & Moon. Not even the Star Forger Aurelion Sol with his celestial powers or The Void monsters would stand a chance. With her last act, in league lore, she faced death as a fierce warrior to protect her mother and the literal embodiment of Kindred, since the man was gone, only the Wolf remained - She wasn’t afraid of the wolf & faced the lamb. Just how they met, she blew her final love letter symbol to her mother with “Pew”

What makes the interaction between Jinx and Viktor so fascinating to me is that, though she had no way of knowing, Jinx effectively created this entire community by blowing up the council. The people Viktor healed are no longer humans, theyre machines and part of the hivemind. Glad Jayce stopped it before it got out of zaun. Also there's a lil detail in act 1 amd act 2 that confirms theyre machines. In the underground chamber thingy, you can see Jayce, Ekko & Heimers breath, then in act 2, When Jayce returned, you can see his breath again but not Salo.. machines dont need to breathe.
