Arcane could have just been a simple adaption of a video game about two cities at war and two sisters who grew apart. But instead they made it the most gut-wrenching, spectacular story I've ever seen. The music, the scenery, everything is perfect down to the last details and this show deserves all the love it got.

It felt like in season 1 they decided to make a story with a league of legends backdrop. And then decided to make league of legends the front of the show in season 2. "Arcane could have just been a simple adaption of a video game about two cities at war and two sisters who grew apart." This is quite literally what made the story. But ultimately abandoned because they knew they had to try and incorporate the rest of the world. Each story they wished to tell should have been left in isolation.

except she is not happy.... there are hints of her going dark, and the ending hints that she will be creating some sort of hextech, and i am betting my money on time machine, because the Ekko in the alternate timeline was already working on some sort of z-drive prototype, that's why the Ekko that went back had things to base his design on, now they have made a working one, and at the end Powder reviews her stash of hex-crystal, it only make sense if she will create a time machine of her own to go back and save Vi, and repeat the entire Arcane cycle, turning it into a endless loop.

Powder/Jinx, one of the most tragic and well-written characters in the Arcane series. Wanting to prove herself that she can help her family yet, unknowingly getting Mylo and Claggor killed. Got taken in by Silco, grew up and was living in her fantasy, unable to move on from her trauma that happened ever since Vi abandoned her once. Had Isha as her new little sister, found out Vander was alive, lost her little sister later on as Jinx got depressed and in the end, sacrificed herself as Powder ending it all with a bang!

She isn't the hero of Zaun, she IS Zaun. That's why silco wouldn't give her up. She embodies everything that Zaun is, damaged, traumatized, scarred, but also filled with the will to survive, ingeniuity, tenacity, Zaun is the is thematically the Trickster. The hero of zaun would be like ekko, though in this series he's part of a third group.

I feel like vander came back a split second before the grenade went off. If you pay attention while the warwick was grabbing jinx he wants gripping her hard at all. Very gentle and the memory that we see has her grenades too. The monkey head. And as we seen in the end that the hexgate has multiple vents all around it.

The issue for me is that they shifted the focus in Season 2 to the dangers of Hextech, even though there was nothing inherently bad about it in Season 1. The real problem was how Hextech was being used. Instead of continuing the compelling Piltover vs. Zaun storyline, they turned it into a cliché “Hextech invasion” narrative reminiscent of a White Walker plot. Season 2 should have stayed focused on the Piltover vs. Zaun conflict. Piltover could have emerged victorious, forcing Zaun to accept defeat. The chembarons would take control, and Silco’s vision for independence would collapse under the weight of his own hubris. However, Ambessa would step in to strike a deal with Zaun: Noxus would trade food and wealth in exchange for weapons and monsters. Ambessa would also give Zaun their independence by pulling some strings. This would lead to Zaun thriving-but at a terrible cost. Meanwhile, Mel would awaken her latent powers and leave with Ambessa for Noxus, ensuring her mother stays far from Piltover. Before departing, she entrusts Jayce with the responsibility of safeguarding Piltover. Disillusioned by the turn of events, Viktor would transform into the Machine Herald, dedicated to protecting the weak in Zaun from the tyranny of the chembarons. Though evil and injustice may seem to have prevailed, the fight for good never truly ends, as there will always be those who rise to challenge the darkness.

With Jinx being so much more in Arcane than just the video-game crazy explosion girl, this emphasizes the nuance and internal conflict and depth of emotion that the character embodies. However... Am I the only one who interpreted the end of the series, with Caitlyn looking at the blueprints of the Hexgate tower, how the central shaft connected to the airship docks, and then the airship flying away into the wild blue, as a possibility that Jinx somehow slipped out of drone!Warwick's grasp and managed to escape, to find freedom at last? To find a way to fulfil that vow she made as a child way back in season 1 episode 1, that someday she was "gonna fly in one of those things" (an airship)?

Yeah she's alive, but that's part of breaking the cycle. She can walk away from the family "identity" while Vi can't, that's the power of Jinx not being 1:1 Powder. Vi realizes I believe too in that final fight with Vanderwick when Jinx saves her. They'll be apart for now but chance may bring them back together eventually.
