@danielwilliams7592 Жыл бұрын
The line was to fading hope their creature, make disappear their fading hope and then pay the tithe. I don’t think it was a full control issue cause LVD’s big score gave them a pause in which to respond. I think they made the mistake we’ve all done of just clicking through the sequence to quickly and messing up. The button for accept, decline, next phase, EVERYTHING being in the exact same spot is, I believe, intentionally predatory. It makes it very easy to make mistakes like that.

That fourth match was SO rude. My only thoughts about the opponent sticking around: 1) They are fair gamer (when does that happen on Arena?) 2) They are pure masochist 3) They were thinking: "hang a sec, what is this insanity? I looked at it as an option, but won't help against the most common answers like Invoke Despair and otherwise we don't have any permanents to protect early so it would be a dead card for a long time.

that might have been me? I've been trying to make bombardment work since rotation. safekeeping works for boseiju (which i never see) and disenchant/prison effects, but not invoke despair which is alot more common in bo1. often I just use it on a land to protect my life total. i saw a domain bombardment deck on reddit a while back, and that made me think maybe the idea could be to add a couple more enchantments so you can sacrifice them instead of bombardment, leyline binding or military discipline for example, but that detracts from the game plan

I have a Grixis version of this deck that frequently wins by getting Maestros Charm under Arcane Bombardment. Drains for 3 start adding up _fast_ when you are doing it twice every turn cycle. Looping Play With Fire / Lightning Strike at the opponent's face can be a real wincon too.

Herd Migration can be channeled for {1}{G} to gain 3 life and tutor a basic land, and once it's in the yard Bombardment can turn it into multiple 3/3 tokens.
@LegenVD Жыл бұрын

As usual, an awesome deck, commentary and video! And, at risk of sounding like an idiot and not understanding sarcasm, what "went wrong" during the second match, when opponent tried to counter their own Fading Hope is that... People tend to forget that Ward only counters OPPONENT'S spells and abilities. As usual... "Reading the card explains the card". But well, at the very least, anybody who didn't get it will now know why that happened!

I’m sure you are busy making decks 24-7 but I would love if you could improve on my alchemy arcane bombardment turns deck. Main cards are the bombardment and that new piece it together, burn down the house, big score, fable of mirror b, 2 key to the archives. Then a random mix of target any burn since you can go face with bombardment triggers if there are no creatures, and either saibia siphoner and bloodthirsty adversary for an alternate way to infinite turns if you have kikijiki out. Fun but definitely not competitive yet

This deck seems to be very soft to invoke despair. Tapping out on turn 5 or 6 for bombardment just to have it sacrificed seems bad and sandbagging it doesn't seem much better.
