Imagine taking up your position in a newly erected military fortress, believing it’s impossible to be destroyed and feeling safe at your station. And all of a sudden, you see a big ass ship piloted by a mentally psychotic person sailing towards the fortress at Mach fuck and it starts circling it while shooting a ludicrous amount of cannonballs at it, decimating the structure within minutes. The captain dismounts the ship to massacre everyone inside of the fortress including you

also, for those who wants to shoot the fort from safe distances, use Iron Carronades (Enhanced) which has more range than the Dragonfire, and also a second less reload time 😅

a nice way to beat them fast as an Ash Conjurer: Devestate/Tempest + Raging Impact + Explosion (Synergy bonus from bleed) + Striking Gale Rinse and repeat

If you're using a weapons build, i reccomend dual flintlocks with multi shot and rapid fire on them, very effective against the predictable AI of NPCs

You can use the brace button to remove zoom insanity effects. Guys remember there is no need to shoot at the fort itself you can shoot at the base like he did. edit- fr its the magic council

Found a pretty easy method. Poison mage. The poison DOT allows you to focus primarily on dodging while poison itself has fairly high size and power. Just prioritize fire/plasma magic NPCs cause they can ignite the poison clouds.

gas method is viable, though volatile, it's best to go for high aoe mages(metal/earth)

anyone who needs help with info on how to take on fort castrum solo, is to use aoe and power, you dont need that much defense since most of the enemies are level 100 or below, you can use any cannons but using one that allow you to take it on at long ranges such as culverins and even fast magic arcanium cannons will allow you to use better cannons than just light, and not to mention that fort castrum takes alot more damage when striking it from behind (no homo)

Deadass the vitality regen builds are probably the only ones that can beat this **comfortably** . Because they can just run full Lost Envoy (? i forgor) set with all regen and just sustain through the entire thing

I found the best way is just to fire from a distance, if you have the right cannons the fort can’t hit you 0:54

there is a method to shoot it from afar, where you can land dense cannonballs(3rd highest dmg) with heavy cannons the highest raw damage goes to heavy exploding shells, though the drawback is abyssmal range

I find the raid can be done solo in 20-25 minutes with a power mage build and by abusing the healing from height.

Btw u can outrange the fort using enchanted culverins, allowing you to shoot the fort without getting shot at at all

you could actually hit enhanced carronades from a safe distance, which deals 5x the damage compared to culverins

There is a time limit that I believe someone said was 10 minutes, if nothing happens during that time then the fortress recovers

once the boss is defeated and you obtain the chests, wait around 10 mins and the fort will 'regen', after which you need to bomb the fort again and do the 10 waves. thus semi-farmable ig

Very, you get loot as well as chests that allow u to put modifiers on armour depending on the chest type. Frozen chests give frozen modifiers for example
