I really needed this recap! Having never played the game, I was utterly baffled most of the time-constantly scratching my head and wondering what on earth half of it all meant. If this series were released one episode per week, it would be a lifesaver. I'd have plenty of time for someone to break down all the intricacies of the game and point out every Easter egg-because, let’s be honest, I wouldn’t catch them on my own even with a magnifying glass.

Jinx isn't really dead [purple flash before the explosion, vents on the blueprints, a blimp (ref to the 1st line of Powder) ] She followed imaginary Silco's advice and "walked away from the circle". Arcane is incredible, and while I'm sad that it's over, I'm glad that it exists Love that the doctor is partially responsible for the most horrible things that happened in the show (creating shimmer wasn't enough he saved and corrupted Jinx, changed Viktor perspective, experimented on Vander and made the final batle possible) but still got his happy ending.

Arcane is that one show I can give both seasons an easy 10 out of 10. The writing, the characters, the animation, art style, the music. It is a masterpiece and I hope they consider telling more stories in the Arcane/League universe of characters and lore. Goddamit I love this show so much 😭

Thanks for covering this series! This is the best way for me to keep up with what's going on without investing hours into the show. I got 5 episodes into the first season and realised that, while the action is spectacular, the "steampunk/political intrigue" genre is not for me. Before people attack me, I'm glad you have a show you adore--truly :) It's just not what I prefer, and that's okay. Blue Eye Samurai is more my thing.
