One of the best things on Netflix right now, if not THE best. Plenty of shows have tried to go for the "both sides are right and wrong" angle, but this is one of the few times I've seen where it was pulled off this masterfully 😊

RE: Jinx's relationships with Vi and Silco: I think she's perfectly capable of understanding the difference between romantic relationships and familial relationships. The problem is attention. She was Vi's number one priority as a kid, Vi defended her from Mylo and hyped her up when she needed it. Then, Vi "abandoned" her, and Silco- also someone with trust issues and no family- took her in, and I imagine Jinx quickly became Silco's number one priority, except ~liberation for Zaun~ yada yada. Vi comes back years later, and brought a new GF with her? Jinx automatically goes to thinking she's been demoted to Vi's number 2 priority after the new GF- untrue, but not the point. Anyway, that was my interpretation. Like how young kids of divorce don't want their parents dating anyone new- the kids want to be the number one priority, and see a new person as a threat. It's a very immature way to look at it, but then, Jinx never really grew out of her childhood world view. Trauma, am I right?

Exactly, even though Vi was there for Ekko Mylo and Claggor, Jinx remembers it has Vi being there for Powder and her alone. Its part of that final scene, "I though you could love me like you used to". With Caitlyn there Jinx sees Vis' attention as for Caitlyn, with her psychosis turning her fears things up to 11

100% agreed. It also explains how the physical interactions between Jinx and Silco make some audiences uncomfortable. She had hugged him in some real uwu ways and got very close to his face whether during the baptism ritual or the eye-poking procedure. Jinx's acting like an 8-year-old but she is physically mature which makes the scenes kinda sexual (and possibly hot for Silco x Jinx shippers and people with daddy issues lmao).

this seems to be one of those times where there is a Big divide on how people interpreted the dynamic, Initially it did look like a grooming scenario to me but they pulled away from that just in time. I feel like the Intent was to make it somewhat uncomfortable for the audience to help illustrate that while they do care fore each other but the relationship is unhealthy for both of them.

Oh, it's weird. But the video presents it as even weirder than it is. It's an unhealthy relationship, but a) Silco believes everything he teaches Jinx, so you can't really call it manipulation, and b) he never sexually groomed her like the video implies.

Glad to see someone acknowledge how strange it was with how jealous Jinx got of Caitlyn. I know that the creators of the show have admitted to deliberately making things uncomfortable (especially with Silco and Jinx). It just shows how warped her understanding of human relationships are. She can’t differentiate between familial, platonic, and romantic love, which is why she gets so bent out of shape over Caitlyn. Anyhow, this made me laugh out loud multiple times. Absolutely hilarious stuff!! Definitely have a subscriber !

It's really not strange. Jinx is mentally a child. She's jealous of the attention Vi gives to Caitlyn, as well as distrustful and angry because Cait is an enforcer. Not everything needs to have an elaborate creepier-than-necessary explanation.

Jinx distrusts Vi because she went to her meeting in the company of a police officer when Jinx is a wanted criminal, so it is very obvious that Jinx is going to believe that Vi is going to betray her. and hand over to the police. It was also very stupid of Vi not to understand that going to a meeting with a criminal in the company of a police officer would look bad because that's like going to a meeting with blood stains on someone with a bloody knife and expecting no one to think that's suspicious. .

He is a dreamer, which isn't a bad thing as they tend to push the boundaries outside of the box by questioning the conventions of what is possible or not. But in a practical sense, he'd been working on it for years, and Victor came along and helped him 'figure it out' in a few weeks. It is why they work so well together. Jayce is the fire, Victor is the forge. They need each other to succeed.

No because you guys can’t pretend that Silco and Jinx has a very uncomfortable dynamic. Obviously he isn’t a pedo as the video kind of implied (obviously for comedy) but Silco uses Jinx as this symbol of Zaun when really she’s just an emotionally stunted, mentally ill young girl. They had some very uncomfortable scenes and the writers wrote it to make you uncomfortable. You can not tell me that the eye drop scenes and that moment when they got WAY to close to kissing when he DROWNED HER to make her embrace an identity HE decided for her wasn’t very uncomfortable on your first watch and it remains uncomfortable when you rewatch it. I love Silco as much as the next person and he does love Jinx as any good father would, but he’s not a good father and “in the name of love” is not an excuse. Love is not enough. Flying Walrus made an amazing video explaining how there relationship is in fact abusive and you should definitely check it out.

Many missed that Heimerdinger is one of the subtly villain because in the long time he's the father of Piltover, he let the oppression and wrongdoings towards Zaun. He was so out of touch and caught up in his delusions that everything is just. Then, when he was in Zaun he was feeling like a victim to the left out place and people that he could've prevented all those years. While Jayce is one of my least, he did right by overthrowing him but the council still didn't get better.

Everyone in the series has mental and emotional issues. Silco is a bad guy (tho w some heart/well meaning... sorta?) Anyway him and Jinx/Pow having a super questionable relationship - fatherly or uh.. _not_ fatherly is not out of the question, like at all. Again, he's a BAD GUY and Jinx/Pow already has a father figure, possibly two in fact. Silco wouldn't be a "dad" in her eyes, moreso she met him around the exact time puberty would start to creep in. So she likely sees him as a sort of "hero" / Buuut it's possible she does see him as some sorta 'parental''sh but also romantic, even sexual feelings - and Silco is again, A BAD GUY but also not one to deny her LITERALLY ANYTHING (and i mean _anything_ ) if she wants uh... something. She can have it. (tho I'd assume he's been hyper possessive and wouldn't allow any guy or gal to even breath wrong muchless look at her in any sort of way-) // So long as it's only with him and him alone. So they likely do have both a parental'isssssh but not rly, rom/sx'l relationship. Is it healthy? NOPE! But are or were they happy together and truly love each other so deeply and it works for them? It fulfills their needs?? YES! So who're we to judge? You can have your own diluted white bread HC devoid of the most obvious signs that anyone can see, but since it doesn't fit your idea of "morally acceptable" that it must not exist but violence, murder and carnage is fine, eh? :-D But having a obv unhealthy relationship w someone from a tender age? Nope- bad guys would NEVER do that, amiright???
