They did say that their story isn't over tho, if i'm not mistaken. It's really possible that Ekko will go after Jinx in the story (not in arcane, obv) - I doubt he belives she died that easily. But they do seem to have grew a lot closer, and its sweet to see.

Hold on I think I actually really appreciate ekko because he's literally everything that ISN'T what that other guy just said. He's the best character in the show, full stop. He's the best character, he's the most fun to watch, he's the best person. His whole thing is getting hands on deck and making people's lives better while everyone else is blinded by fear or ambition. All he wants to be is helpful (in a realistic way! He knows he can't save everyone, that's the difference between him and Viktor) and he doesn't fail. The firelights are actually cared for, and hardly any other faction can say the same. Ambessa was searching for jinx for soo long trying to get her hands on jinx to help her with hextech. Ambessa knows exactly how unpredictable jinx is and the level of destruction and chaos she is capable of. She seemed soo playful while dealing with Caitlyn and piltover but when jinx arrives she gets very serious. One of my all time favorite quotes is "For you are my enemy, nothing could command more of my respect". The fact that Ambess takes Jinxes arrival as a serious threat even if just for a moment and even if she was just the decoy force for Victor, I have no doubt that Ambessa knows not to underestimate Jinx when she makes herself known.

Then later Cait is looking at slides focuses on the ventilation shaft and air ducts and grins. All while holding the top of Jinx’s bomb. Meaning there wasn’t a body. Also if you remember in season 1 in the first episode as their are raiding Jayce’s lab as kids when they get to the roof Powder says as an airship passes over, “one day I’m gonna fly one of those” and what’s in the last scene of act 3 season 2? The exact same airship leaving the city. Jinx is very much alive. It’s like Jinx said to Vi no matter where they go they are always together.

Okay but EVERYTHING about Jinx's balloon drives me nuts. The bunny ears symbolizing Powder, the rabbit on the gramophone, the "dolls" of Mylo and Clagger, the colors not just her familiar blues and pinks but also Ekko's green (you also see this when she's shooting her gatling gun), along with the clouds AND Ekko's hourglass on the propellers- Jinx has not just accepted her past. She's embraced it.

Jinx is alive in the end.. Cait saw an anomaly within the tunnel being splash with shimmer touches and ghost Silco told to Jinx earlier that the only way the cycle will end is if she walkaway.. also in episode 1 at the start of the show, Powder said she wanna ride the ballon ship one day and now the ending for arcane is the Ballon ship sailing away.. I believe Jinx is in that ship, riding and going away from anyone so she couldn't jinx anyone anymore.. Maybe well get to see her more in the upcoming arcane series but on different region.. Hope Jinx meets some friendly champion. Honestly, 10/10 ending.. the writters are fckn insanely good

And you know what is even better? even if you dislike this ending; even if you only see its flaws...it just goes back to Jayce's message. We can never reach perfection: for to be perfect is to not be human. But to be human is to be beautiful. And what is imperfect can have beauty. The ending is flawed, but it does not affect the pure art and beauty of the show. We might be left wanting more - a show more perfect. But there are always limitations upon humanity. We should see the beauty of the imperfect and realise not everything can be resolved, and can be solved. Additionally, I think leaving Jinx's fate undecided is genius. And I don't think riot will ever explore what happens to her. Because her fate is unimportant to the story: the most important part is that she let go, of her past, her hatred, and let Vi go so that Vi could be happy. She knew that she would always cause conflict for Vi and decided to make it easier. - Even if Jinx is dead, we know that in another universe, she is happy and in love with Ekko. We find solace in that. We also find solace that her pain and suffering is finally gone; that she finally forgave herself and did good. - even if Jinx is alive, we know that she has finally broken free from this cycle of violence. And perhaps will start a new life with Ekko perhaps or by herself. They will probably say the game's characters are merely in a different universe.

Watching this scene again, it's amazing how everything Jinx did was intentional. - Approached using air superiority because Ambessa's force is stronger on ground - That same air balloon she rode gave Ekko's team a safe vantage point where they could glide down and easily struck prime targets like the shimmer enhanced giant - Played loud music to attract attention then fired smokes to obscure the Zaunite army flooding up the bridge - Sit inside the balloon instead of poking her face out in case someone was holding flank guard up high, only revealing herself after the coast was clear - Hid her machine gun so nothing would accidentally damage it - She only pulled out the machine gun afterwards to eliminate the force high above first so she could have the sky safe for herself
