I'm split on if she's really dead as you see a flash of shimmer dash away from Jinx and Warwick before the blast, Kait is researching the building to see if there was an exit route and the final scene is a Piltover airship flying away before we see the artwork associated with Jinx's mental breakdowns before fading to black which would be a pay off to one of if not Powder/Jinx's first line "one day I'm going to ride in one of those things" and those who play the game know Jinx has a similar looking airship. Plus we never saw a body confirming the kill which the rule of TV is that if you don't see the body they're not 100% dead and even in Arcane proven with Vander even seeing the body doesn't confirm death

Cait saw an anomaly within the tunnel being splash with shimmer touches and ghost Silco told to Jinx earlier that the only way the cycle will end is if she walkaway.. also in episode 1 at the start of the show, Powder said she wanna ride the ballon ship one day and now the ending for arcane is the Ballon ship sailing away.. I believe Jinx is in that ship, riding and going away from anyone so she couldn't jinx anyone anymore.. Maybe well get to see her more in the upcoming arcane series but on different region.. Hope Jinx meets some friendly champion. Honestly, 10/10 ending.. the writters are fckn insanely good

The sex scene is gratuitous and gross, there's no way anyone can hear their sisters/brother/friend tell them they intend on killing themselves and you ignore it to be horney in a manky rat infested prison cell. It's such a great show but there were aspects in the writing that were a little confusing and character beats that were conflicting to what we already know about each character Having said that it was amazing and it's clear everyone worked hard to create this absolute work of art and I still enjoyed it. .... they definitely needed 3 more episodes to tie this all up properly though

Obvious details that Jinx did not die: - You can see her escape at 2:28, go with slow motion, there is the shimmer line - At the end, Caitlyn was checking the vents and she realized that Jinx could possibly escaped on the exact side where you noticed the shimmer dash (2:28) - The season finale ends with her, leaving Piltover My guess is that Vi already knows that Jinx is Alive. Caitlyn asked her if she is still in the fight and she responded with ”I am the dirt under your nails”, which basically could mean that Vi purpose is to continue her inner fight, to find her little sister and to live a happy life together.

nah jinx is alive... she teleported out into the vents before the explosion happened... she faked her death so that vi could finally live in peace with caitlyn and stop worrying about her... you can see caitlyn looking at blueprints of the area they were in and seeing the vents knowing jinx escaped... also you can see her paint on the blimp at the end and she did say earlier she always wanted to ride one... and when the credits rolled and it flashed "the end" it was written in jinx style with her style of writing and her colors... and to top it all off she was working with ekko and he probably convinced her to do something like this to free herself and vi.

Leaving an open ending for Jinx is actually kinda perfect. In the past episodes she's usually seen as a symbol of Undercity's hatred against Topside. And when the two cities united once again due to external threats, Zaunites get a seat of table, Silco's dream is finally realized and the hatred is eventually gone, Jinx just vanishes along with the ended warfare, buried deep below the surface with the miserable past of Zaun, or maybe flew high away from the wasteland, bringing the cycle to an end. And a new beginning.

We already have champions whos whole lore contradict each other's and champions that are dead for years already, Gangplank as example. This show changed VIktor's lore completely. Same goes for Jayce. They both disappeared, Arcane moved past limbo state of League. Cait lost her eye, when she has both of them in the game. Warwick looks completely different by the end of Arcane. Hell, probably dead. Arcane"s Jinx is not that insane Jinx from the game we know. She is completely different person. Jinx from the game resembles the one that existed between episodes 4 and 9 of first Arcane season. Hell, even Oriana's lore was completely changed. Because originally her father, Revek, wasn't an alchemist. But an engineer. Some lines in the game now do not make much sense too. SO yeah. You can freely consider that Arcane changed Piltover's and Zaun's lore completely. They would need to adapt every other part of the lore that wasnt included in the show to fit new canon. Hell. They killed a newly introduced champion. Ambessa. Girl just got released this month and then killed off in the lore.

Yeah. I've seen a few people say the fact that Isha isn't mentioned by name in act 3, claiming that her death didn't impact the story much. I think these people sleep on the fact that Jinx literally attempted suicide 5 times in response to that whole event (it's most likely slept on because Ekko saved her, but just think, if he wasn't there, Isha's death would directly lead to Jinx's death). And as you say, all the Isha homages in Jinx's attack and outfit. Yeah, just because she isn't "mentioned" in the later act, doesn't mean she didn't have an impact on the story and characters.

I don't know if anyone else noticed this but during Isha's death scene she smiled and had tears falling from her eyes before closing them and pulling the trigger on the gun as a sacrifice for Jinx while in this Jinx is doing the same thing and pulling the trigger on the bomb but doing it as a sacrifice for Vi. (They also both did something they did with the other person before their death. Isha doing the shooting motion hand thing that she always did with Jinx and then Jinx saying 'Always with you, sis' like she did previously in the episodes to Vi) Jinx was desperate to save Isha when she was about to die and Vi was desperate to save Jinx when she was about to die too. During both of their final moments they were happy and dying for someone they love. I don't know if I'm stating the obvious or reading too much into it but it was a really cool similarity

Not for a second do i buy that she’s dead. 1. You can literally see the shimmer trail from her jumping away as the explosion goes off. 2. Last scene with the airship flying off mirrors the scene from season 1 when powder says one day she’s gonna ride in one of those things. 3. Cait is holding the head of the monkey from jinx’s bomb and looking at schematics of the hextech shaft were jinx and vander blew up. She zooms in on a section for the ventilation shafts where jinx might’ve escaped too. Also I’m assuming they found no body which would make cait even more suspicious since the head of the monkey which was literally a part of the bomb is still intact so it wouldn’t make sense for the body to be completely gone. 4. Vi is way too happy in wake of jinx’s death which might be because she believes her sister might’ve escaped somehow. 5. From a writing standpoint if this really was jinx’s death then it was very poorly executed and basically shoehorned in. The writers of the show have proven to be better than that so it makes more sense that they would go for the more sound ending of jinx faking her death.

Two things, One, I love how legitimately scared Vi was against Vandar or rather his Beast side which lead to Jinx ramming him over the edge. Felt it was an “act of Redemption” for Jinx, saving her Sister the same way Vi saved her around Act 1. Sibling Love the way i see it. Defend each other to the end regardless of differences. Two, Jinx, of course survived b/c of the streak before the explosion but faking her death was to bring assurance to Vi that despite being the "overprotective one", she had to come to terms on knowing when to "let go" of her sister, so that both of them could forge her own paths. I feel this is common practice in media, but its a respectable one.

Nonetheless, it's really heartbreaking to see that one sister's happiness comes at the cost of the other's life. Powder and Ekko, but Vi died. Vi and Caitlyn, but Jinx 'dies' or at least has to fake it and be permanently separated to end the cycle. Although, considering that many of us had already been guessing the possibility of Jinx dying as she's Silco's parallel, her death comes more 'naturally' than Vi's, who wasn't ever considered to be some character who could die in the series. Jinx gets to go as a hero, at least. RIP Jinx. I hope you find Isha up there. They could never make me not love you.

She's not dead. At 2:29 as the explosion happens you can see her purple shimmer. Indicating she high speed shimmered out and used to grenade to put Vander out of his misery. At the end you'll also see Caitlyn smile when she figured out that jinx escaped through one of the pipelines, the air balloon at the end implies jinx is in it, leaving the city, she always wanted to ride one of those :)

The way they showed her descent there with Vander was masterful. The animators designed it in a way that made her look as if in a slow descent into the depths of water, the slow motion, the gentle and calm tranquility of her resolution here... and the slow trails of tears upwards as if bubbles from of air escaping from a mouth. Then they echo'd the beautiful set design of Cyberpunk Edgerunners' Lucy & David cyberpsychosis death fall in the sky, but with their own touch as Jinx turns around and goes for a softer embrace action, cupping his face between her hands as Vander mimics the hugging motion by pulling her in as she turns., before pulling the grenade. Its beautiful and not a single "live" show does things like this, nor can they artistically exaggerate and design it in more appealing ways. But i think one of the saddest (and also frustrating) part here, is that Vi could have easily gotten out and Jinx would be fine. But she got caught up getting that last look at Vander and lost the window. She is the reason Jinx dies here and thats a weight to hold.

There is also a theory that it was actually Vander who saved her, and if so it could be connected to the Monkey bomb Jinx uses when they are falling, hear me out: Caitlyn is looking at air vents because she doesn't know where it happened and how Jinx could escape that as there was no body apparently and neither does Vi, she averted her gaze. Explosion happened way above those air vents, shimmer trail was still in the dome. Those metalic "tears" Vander had are shown when Viktor's 'magic' leaves the husk and don't forget Singed mentioned that Vander was veeery resilient, it could be that as now Viktor is gone only Vander remains in the mind albeit the way he was when he fought Jinx in the prison, a beast. Yes his memories were erased but i doubt all of them were - again Singed quote. *When Jinx takes out her Monkey bomb - camera zooms on it - then it goes to a memory of Vander tucking them in and blowing the candle - the angle of that shot is showing his face and Powder's Monkey head side by side. Same head she has on the bomb now, same style.* Now, last time Jinx wanted to use a bomb on him he remembered who she was. So if he remembered her once more he could be the one to toss her to safety, he was holding her by the waist anyways, and shimmer is activated when Jinx is emotional, not only when used when she needs to escape. Her shimmer trail goes to the oposite direction of the hole her Lair made, we can see that because of the pipes and gear wheels in the dome. Direction in which her trail went has in fact many catwalks and rails on it, you can see it when Viktor is pulling Jayce up the moment they enter the dome. And all those catwalks eventually lead to the hole in the dome Jinx Lair made as well.... So idk it could also lead to an escape route. But no matter how she did it and how it happened, Jinx was trully able to walk away and ride one of those things. I look forward seeing her in future projects ❤
