"will you please stop hovering???" "i'm not sure how to do that sir" is unreasonably wholesome... just the way they're simply floating around, enjoying their discovery... just pure science, the thing that brought them together, without any politics, war or illness to tear them apart :( man i forget just how innocent this series was at first, makes it hurt even more

For me this is my second. My first was an anime series called A Certain Magical Index, as well as the spinoff shows: A Certain Scientific Railgun as well as A Certain Scientific Accelerator. Some of the arcs were a bore for me personally, but it was fun to see both sides nonetheless and the situations when both society's would intertwine. Also, one of my favourite characters come from this show, whose power is having the ability to control Vectors, which is BROKEN AF.

this is not my favorite overall moment in the show but it is my favorite display of the visual animation itself, the team did a hell of a job. That transition from the mage slamming down his staff into the crystal unlocking is mesmerizing. whoever came up with the idea to add that is a genius.

Question: are they using magic as a power source for their machines, or are they trying to create technology that use specific spells for certain tasks?
@HiHi-it1vr2 жыл бұрын
kind of both. The hex core works as a power source but the machine tries to replicate what the mage did when he was a kid. If you dig enough to the lore, you'll find out the fck up story about those hex things.
@roxasdrayheart55612 жыл бұрын
@@HiHi-it1vr yes, its powered by souls. Branwen I believe is the name of them. Arcane might not touch on this, but as for how Hextech works, the hex core is almost a perpetual motion machine and I think what Jayce was trying to do was HARNESS that perpetual motion machine via the rune imbued tech he was using. And then Viktor fused it with Shimmer (y know, the purple stuff Silco and Singed made) to create the Hexcore, which is CLEARLY tapping into that "powered by souls" aspect, since it sucked up his blood and Sky. It's also entirely possible it has SOME kind of connection to the Void, since it has the same eerie purple glow that Void based creatures and objects have.

Hey, I know the Hextech is clearly alive somehow. But...is someone fully developed communicating throught it ? Or is said being still learning and growing up ?
@HarperBizzare2 жыл бұрын
Hextech is like an AI. However, in Act 2 and 3, to become truly sentient, it needs organic matter. The more organic matter it absorbs, the more sentient it becomes. That's how I think it works.
@roxasdrayheart55612 жыл бұрын
uh, I don't if they're keeping it for Arcane but apparently the hextech stones are powered by the souls of the Branwen- if you know Skarner, he's trying to get back his people's souls. so, YES it is technically alive

The happiness and awe of this scene reminds me of what happens in episode 2 of Season 2. Spoilers: Viktor’s healing of the Shimmer addicts seems like such a good thing, but we see that it eventually leads to ruination in the future. Just like how this scene is the prologue to so much pain.
