Im convinced that there are no true villains in arcane. We get to see the reasons for the (evil) actions of each character. No character is shown as needlessly evil without sense. Not even Ambessa or Singed. They all try to acomplish what they think is right thing to do, or at least they dont have just pure evil intentions with what they do. For Silco or Ambessa for example it was "the neccessary evil for the greater good". They didnt just cause destruction for the sake of destruction, although they werent the most altruistic fellas either.

In her defence she most likely didn’t intend her Magic-powered toy monkey bomb to be THAT powerful and deadly, nor did she likely intend for her Magic-powered toy monkey bomb to kill and injure so many people. Most especially her own biological sister, her own adopted two older brothers and her adopted dad, and besides. She only tried and intended to be helpful and tried to help her siblings save their farther from the clutches of the evil man with an evil eye that he has to maintain with his newly invented creation: Shimmer for some reason that I do not know.

Yeah. I feel like she would probably have ended up in a asylum. Because she was mentally ill from the start. And thats why i really dont like vi in the new season. She says she was done blaming herself for jinx’s mistakes. But jinx was really mentally unstable and vi probably shouldve understood that instead of trying to kill her. Idk. Its disturbing to see since they make them so real. And i relate to both sisters

@@Lucia-zuboI mean I do agree with you with some of that, Vi wasn’t the one who made Jinx/Powder do all those things. But she was definitely one of the many dominoes that caused Powder to become Jinx and was the reason why Jinx decided to do all those bad things and Vi is also the main reason why Jinx went down the path that she took and is likely the reason why Jinx’s mental state became so much worse than it used to be.

@@doomsday7557 yes😅 i think you misunderstood but its ok. I just meant that i wish vi picked up jinx’s mental health from the start. I have worked in hospitals and its very annoying when family make it worse and say its nothing (out of fear. I know its scary to admit i dont blame them, but its annoying because the patient is suffering because of their fear) and then when they do something terrible which is basically inevitable. They hate the patient. But the patient wouldnt have done this if they got the help they needed from the start. In my country jinx would have been placed in her own high risk psych ward to keep others safe. I think.. i mean after everything maybe prison but i think it depends on what state she was during the crimes

I was just saying if this was in my country she would probably go to a psych ward as young. I didnt blame young vi at all. I blamed the one now trying to kill her sister because she is a danger. And when she thinks about the past she says that its all jinx’s fault but i think its mental health and that she should be in a psych ward (where i have sorta worked)

Pretty sure Jinx is like 5'3 max. Are we really going to try her for crimes she committed as Powder? She was 11! Only one I see justifiable is the end of Act 1, and I'd argue it's manslaughter as she never intended to kill anyone in there, only incapacitate. And finally, the murder of Silco is a classic example of criminal insanity, though she was just lucid enough to be tried for the rest of her crimes it's clear that she perceived Silco's attempted murder of Violet as someone pointing that gun at her, due to how distorted her perception of reality was.

Yeah I’m pretty sure she’s 5’3. I think Vi is at least 5’6 and Caitlyn is 5’8-9. As for her being a child, I don’t get the impression that Piltover really gives a shit about age or intent. Vi got tossed into prison (with no trial or set release date) at like 14 for an explosion that didn’t kill anyone.

@@VR0180 It's clear from Vi's records, or lack thereof, that she's not a legitimate prisoner. The elite of Piltover seem upset enough at the thought of killing children in Act 2 to believe they didn't hold children to the same standards as adults 6 years earlier. Especially as in all of Powder's crimes, except the tri-crystal monkey bomb, she was acting under Vi's command.

Forgot a few like destruction of property, assault on an officer, attempted murder of an officer, murder of an officer (could fall under “terrorism”), discharging a firearm without a lawful cause, unregistered firearm, possession of illegal weapons, Roof jumping/trespassing, kidnapping + 12:56 and to be honest there's probably other crimes we missed. I mean she did a lot of these crimes multiple times making here sentence that much worse.

The sandwich would be considered petty theft and written off, along with the first charge of grand larceny since she was only 11 years old at the time. The first charge of mass murder would not be recorded because it happened in Zaun, where law enforcement had no presence. As far as we know, they never even bothered to investigate the explosion.

Nothing that happened as Powder would count due to her being under the age of criminal culpability and several of the things you listed, like the fight with Ekko would have been listed as self-defense. Weapon manufacturing when making your own is not a crime, though there are a few unlicensed use of explosives charges you missed. Also, due to being under 18 through the entire series, she can not be given the death penalty for any crime. There's even a 33% chance that no matter what happens in season 2, she can not be given death due to being under 18.
