The way those cities utilize science and magic isn't really against each other. Magic is a part of the world and is like a natural force. Piltover and Zaun, where this series takes place, are at a technological level of being able to harness and manipulate that magic in more specific and direct ways.

A lot of people sneer at the game (LoL), which is understandable- it's not everyone's cup of tea, and the community is full of angry kids- but Riot Games' cinematics department is probably one of the best group of animators in the entire industry. Their cinematics they have done over the years for the lore to promote the game have been second to none. They always have emotional scenes accompanied by amazing soundtracks, they really know how to captivate. This is technically going to be the first foray into the actual LoL cinematic universe as far as series/movies, and it's about time. I can't wait for this, it looks truly wonderful.

Hi ! Actually Riot outsourced the animation to a foreign studio, the same one that made Get Jinxed, Warriors (2014), Rise and K/DA ! It's called Fortiche Production and it's french. Nonetheless, Riot is really talented to choose the best animation studios out there to produce wonderful clips for League.

Topsider is a City known as Piltover. It was created on top of another city ( undercity ) which is Zaun. Poor people, outcast, crooks lives at Zaun ( undercity ). The rich and elite live at the topside ( Piltover ). It's a class war.

you know what I like about this on the women side of things. this game has been out for 10+ years and these are well know characters and LOVED by the community. you see riot never pushed a "yay strong women" agenda they just made characters with good story good visuals and over all good design. never have I once said oh this is so forced when it comes their cinematics and lots of them are women. but they are such badass character I love when I see them in screen. but not only that there is other (female) character I want to see really bad but remember I don't want to see them because they are female but because they are sick characters 1 is Corina Camille (my favorite character) she is from piltover Oriana and many more but vi and jinx are so iconic is just a must so I also want to say this pleas don't ruin this with politics I know this wasn't you intention but its just not what the characters were made for thanks loved the vid

The trailer is misdirecting on purpose. All of the predictions and assumtions made here, none of them happen in the show. The show will also make you believe you know what is going to happen as well. It's good at proving us wrong.

tell you what; LOL`s world building is interesting and each characters is unique in their own ways and it`s still expanding. This show is not your typical show that you`ve seen. A fucking lot of stuff will happen here; A LOT and this is just one of the fucked up region you`ll see in Runeterra. Riot can make their universe any more darker if not for their community full of jits that is pulling `em back.

Damnit!!! Spoiler alert on the show I now want to watch! ::sigh:: It's okay. I know the end of King Arthur and I've still watched like 30 adaptation. Including one with a very attractive animated fox.
