Thank you! I have had the EDP for a year. I just bought the Extrait on the Black Friday sale, so I got 15% off! So looking forward to it. When I tried the Extrait the first few times I wasn't convinced, but it grew on me when I started approaching it as it's own fragrance. At first I was critical because it wasn't "the same". Of couse it's not the same! I've grown to love the Extrait. I also have experienced the anostic quality of the EDP. First time every that has happened to me with a fragrance. And that doesn't happen with the Extrait. I tried Burberry Her and it is NOTHING like BR540. Not even a cousin!

Hi Santa, I got a decant of the extrait, and I am trying to detect the almond in it. Are you sure they have reformulated and left the almond out? What I get in the first 60 min or so is a minty/fresh vibe. I am one of those who couldn't care less about the BR. I got me a bottle anyway, but never really wore it. Now that I am trying the extrait, I feel like my heart is opening up more and more. I love how perfume does that. Like life and love: sometimes it is a crush, sometimes it's love at first sight, and sometimes it is the comforting, mature, and familar feeling of an age-old love that has ripened, and is based on understanding. It is here to stay for eternity. I'm not quite there yet, but I got it 100% with Oud Satin Mood.

You would have to check the MFK website for current notes. Ive had my bottle for years and it is the original formulation. Hahaha yes perfume is truly an experience and journey. Love Oud Satin Mood! Keep on sampling. :-)

I got a decant if the extrait and it was atomic and very almondy. I just purchased the bottle from Saks and it is definitely different, weaker. MFK is just watering down their perfumes these days. SMH.

I agree, I’ve smelled Burberry her Ariana cloud and br540 and neither smells like br 540. Although cloud smells good and so does the Burberry her but totally different scent profiles .

I agree, I do not do clones, me personally and I take no slights at anyone who does clones but I just feel like I want the original that creator. I do not want the carbon copy, the one that waited for someone to create something and then go copy it. If it is too much for me I much rather wait and save my money and buy it than get a copy.

OMG girl! I've FINALLY been gifted the extrait and I AM IN LOVE! I've had the edp for years and I like it a lot, but it doesn't last very long and it does a disappearing act on me... The extrait however lasts for eternity, I've worn it out twice and got compliments in elevators, office, even from my head elf who got it for me because I told him that once I had it my collection of just over 90 frags would be complete! I know it's premature, since I received it yesterday, but I think I've FINALLY found my signature scent!

I love your videos, I just found you today. The 540 day time is beautiful and I will most likely be adding it to my collection when I finsh the sample. On a completely different perfume if I may ... I just smelled Tiziana Terenzi -TELEA- Extrait De Parfum today at N.M. and that perfume will stop you in your tracks, think luxurious Miami Hotel. Have you heard of if or smelled it as of yet? I'd love to see a review. My signature is the Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge. Love it

I haven’t gotten to smell this fragrance yet. I know you said there is none like it, but I’ll ask a silly question anyway. 😊 I’ve heard many people say it’s extremely close to BBW In the Stars (which I don’t like). Is it really that close? Because I’ve also heard some of the same people say MM By the Fireplace is nearly the same as BBW Bonfire Bash- which to me they’re totally different! Just wanted your opinion. Thanks!

Nothing better than the og edp- the projection and the sillage it keaves is absolutely insane. The extrait, more of a skin scent which extraits are know for. I have both and there not based towards either. The cotton candy note on the edp is far more suoerior than extraits as it is now combined with the almond accord. To each their own but edp is the 1. For those that complain that edp doesnt last long, try spraying more than once or twice. Edp is a beast.

I have been hesitant to try the extrait. I had a bad experience with getting the extrait of "Not a Perfume." I LOVE the original, but in my opinion, the extrait is just bad. I am saving for a bottle of the BR 540 EDP. In anyone's opinion, should I just get the extrait? I'd love to hear any opinions! It wasn't love at first sniff for me, but I have fallen in love with it! I was able to score a bottle of the hair mist recently. Mmmmmm!

Juliette has a gun perfumes are not good to me either. MFK is a totally different league. You should sample and explore from MFK before making a purchase. I started with samples as well so I knew I absolutely loved both versions of BR540 when I got them.

It's such a soft, never to much, but at the same time so long lasting (on me easily the hole day and on clothes, way longer), so seductive and really magical, and it's sooo amazing for layering, today and the last 2, 3 weeks I'm obsessed with Baccarat Rouge EdP layered with Erba Pura by Xerjoff, ufff, such an intoxicating, sexy, absolut beast mode in every section - scent, if you own Erba Pura, you have to try it, it gives really every fragrance something special👌🤌🤪😘

@@TheSantaMaria1 uuh ja, it's a powerhouse of a fragrance🤌🤪😘 So not a safe blind buy, sharp-veeery fruity, but especially the dry down, ufff, the ambergris comes through so good, my sister wore it on her birthday, she sat a view chairs away from me, but I always could smell it, but also never to much, the fruitiness etc is very alluring and fresh, just great, especially with Baccarat Rouge 540, but if you love BR540, I think you probably also will enjoy Erba Pura, especially in the dry down similar vibes....
